What a great company! We rented a bounce house for Halloween this year on very little notice. Britney was wonderful to work with. Fast and thorough. Offered me a military discount for my dads service. Set up was quick. They gave me a tutorial of how to take care of it and the dos and don’ts. Pick up was easy. Highly recommend Sharky’s for your next party. They were so friendly and helpful when we were figuring out which slide would be best for our party. I received a response immediately and communication was great. Very accommodating and we were thrilled to have the chance to get our slide delivered early! The slide made the party! We had Sharky’s at a family birthday party this weekend. They were on time with the delivery, the slides were very very clean and exactly as we hoped and the kids had a blast. MUST READ!!! STAY AWAY!!!! I don’t ever write reviews, but this is by far the WORST and most horrid company I’ve ever worked with. I rented an inflatable bounce house on a Friday, for my stepsons birthday on Sunday. When I booked my reservation, I was under the impression I was going to get it between 7:30-8:30 AM due to the times I chose, and it was confirmed with the confirmation email I received. I spoke to Justin (who seems to be the owner), and he stated that Sunday morning was really busy and that he could drop it off Saturday evening with no additional charge. I got excited and told my kids to expect one of their gifts early. On Saturday at 4pm, I contacted them asking for an ETA, and he told me he wasn’t going to be able to come today, to expect him Sunday around 10:30-11:00 but could be later ( he had no specific time). Now, my first thought is that half the day is gone and he didn’t even bother to contact me to inform me. I spent most of my day at home, waiting for these guys to come. Not only did he not contact me, he couldn’t even give me a specific time frame. This is a birthday party and you can’t tell me when you’re going to be here? Please, keep in mind that you only receive the bounce for a set amount of hours, which I had already paid for. So, I’m already dealing with a company that was very unorganized. I texted Justin telling him that I was unhappy with the services thus far and pretty much explained everything that I wrote here. His response to me was that he never guaranteed me he would come Saturday, he would “try”. First, that’s not what he said, I wouldn’t have told my kids if that’s what he said. Next, he said they don’t do 7:30 reservations. I went back to my email and there was a typo. It had two drop-off times “7:30-8:30” AND “11:00”. Therefore, i thought it was 7:30. ( how can you blame me for being upset). When I told him I was misinformed due to their emails having typos, he pretended as if it were his first time hearing about the issue and would “ report it” . However, when my fiancé called, the manager stated it’s an error they have been needing to fix for a while. All
In the same text message, ( I never even got a chance to respond from my original text) he told me that I was going to be refunded and I responded asking to PLEASE NOT CANCEL!! he then went ahead, without my permission or me giving any indications that I wanted a cancellation, and refunded me. I asked him not to. When he texted me back, he said he already did it. This is the evening before the party!!!!’ He purposely canceled out of spite, because he didn’t care for my business. He told me to find someone else to make me happy, but where else am I supposed to find a bounce house at 5pm on a Saturday? idk who in the right mind cancels a customer's order, without being asked. None of this wasn’t even my fault, and he decided to retaliate against me. I was very respectful and just simply stated I was unhappy because of this time issue. You would think someone that works with kids would care, but Shaky Events doesn’t. This company left me crying, struggling calling over 20+ company’s trying to find a replacement, desperately. My fiancé called the company and he put his manager on ( he wouldn’t even speak to us directly) , all she did was back him up without any remorse. SharkyEvents lacks business etiquette and does not care about their customers. I have never been treated so carelessly and felt so worthless by a company. At the last second, I got saved by HOP HAVEN.
They were absolutely incredible AND took me in at 7pm!!! Also, after all the research I have done looking for a bounce house, SharkyEvents is the most EXPENSIVE!!!!! Their basic bounce house is $125 and after fees was $150. HOP HAVEN only cost me $99 and a $5 delivery fee and it was a beautiful bounce house. After contacting all these people, SharkyEvents is by far the most expensive. Please don’t spend your money here, HOP Haven does inflatables to the same areas, and they were such good people, with better rates. Let’s not support a company that could care less about kids, yet alone their customers.
