I had an outstanding experience with Shantel. She is by far the most inclusive photographer that I have worked with. By this I mean she asks you what poses you want, she shows you what the photos look like during the shoot, she is adaptable and respectful of your wishes and she is preoccupied with how YOU feel about the pictures taken.
For example, I felt self-conscious about an angle, and she made sure not to shoot from that angle again. (In the past I've had photographers tag me in photos that I hated before I've even seen them myself!) I've worked with so many photographers before, and she has made me feel the most comfortable, confident and in-control during the shoot. Also, my son had a huge bruise on his face from falling off the bed, and she edited it flawlessly. I'm so pleased with every final picture. The photos turned out beautiful and clear, and they came back more quickly than any other photographer that I have worked with. I HIGHLY recommend Shantel Escobar Photography.

We were so lucky to meet Shantel the day after we delivered our son. She took his first set of newborn pictures, in the hospital. They were edited and made into a slideshow within hours of the shoot!! The pictures and slideshow had our entire room bawling by the time we were done viewing, they were that amazing. We scheduled an in home session a few weeks after delivery and we are as just in love with those pictures. Shantell is so kind, personable, professional and wonderful to work with... In some instances, it’s by helping your clients feel as comfortable and confident as possible. In other instances, going “incognito” to encourage the most pure, candid and interactive moments is the secret.

I’d ask “What are you ultimately looking to have me capture and what type of moments would you like to look back on?”

I love making my clients feel beautiful in front of my camera and being their “memory capturer”!
