I go there for the lunch buffet. I'm a fan of Indian buffets. Inexpensive, tasty and fairly healthy. Pretty typical spread for the capital city area. Naan, Pakora (fried apps), salads, sauces, rice, veggies, chutney. Chicken entrees and rice pudding for dessert. Had a great meal today, the weekday lunch buffet, which was well stocked with a lot of variety of foods. This place has a ton of flavorful options for vegetarians. This was my first visit to the buffet and I was impressed with the food and the kindness and service of the staff and owner. I’ve had take out a few times, and the delivery has always been hot and quick! I will definitely be taking friends with me here the next time I come in. Shalimar is my favorite restaurant in Bethlehem. The menu is extensive and has a huge range of dishes including vegetarian dishes and appetizers. Absolutely outstanding food. Food is always consistently packed with flavor and cooked just right. It's now a regular lunch stop of mine I go almost every week. Owner is very professional and friendly. Even when he is busy he always has time to smile and show his appreciation for your business.
