I manage an apartment building that's had several car break-ins over the last 3 months. The guard I hired from Surveillance patrolled the building and my three parking lots regularly each night and have citations to parking violators.
I expected this to be done. What I didn't expect was for the guard to go above and beyond by listing the license plates of cars with their windows down or unlocked during his patrol, so my office and I could warn the owner that they were at high risk of theft, etc. This was amazing and so caring! We now notify tenants when they are on the list and will refer to the list next time there is a car break-in. Thank you so much for sending us Guard Mike R. We could not be more pleased!

What do you love most about your job?
What I like is the challenge of staying at the forefront of a changing industry, and finding ways to provide security solutions for companies who are concerned about both performance and cost-efficiency. Having a strong and experienced internal team, as well as a collaborative and transparent partnership with our clients allows us to benchmark best practices, and identify areas for improvement. I like the challenges of always looking to make a business better, and working with bright and talented people.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After several years working in the security industry, I was becoming highly disgruntled with seeing customers throughout Southern California receiving poor quality security service by pricey security firms all promising to be the best but delivering just sub-standard results. So, we started a company where you could find honest service, true security professionals and above-standard service at prices to meet most budgets.
Why should our clients choose you?
We believe that listening, communicating and understanding our client's security needs and expectations, and then accurately matching the right program and/or officer to execute those needs and expectations is essential. We monitor every officer's effectiveness through innovative standards that allow us to measure their performance. An important part of our service that cannot be highlighted enough is communication. We are never out of reach. In fact, all clients receive the personal contact information of S.G.P.’s management team to connect with us anytime and as often as they like. And we check in with our clients regularly to solicit feedback and discuss any concerning observations reported by their patrol or on-site officer.
ON-SITE SECURITY
On-site officers provide a physical presence at businesses, facilities and residential communities. They patrol all areas, scan pre-determined checkpoints, are a deterrent to crime / illegal activity and provide immediate response to emergencies.
CONCIERGE OFFICER
Concierge officers are foremost agents of service. In addition to providing security protection, these professionals bring outstanding customer service and administrative experience to the most prominent hotels, corporate offices, and residences. They are trained in first responder protocol, emergency procedures, and de-escalating conflicts. Concierge Officers resolve disputes and arbitrate issues discreetly and away from public view.
FACILITY OFFICER
Industrial, commercial and construction site security officers are trained specialists with a set of unique skills, such as access control, seal verification, control and monitoring of electronic detection systems and the ability to respond appropriately to alerts. They can keep an inventory of construction site materials, safeguard keys to vehicles/equipment and ensure entry is granted only to authorized personnel including, delivery vehicles and any other visitors looking to gain access to your facility.
EVENT SECURITY
Event security officers provide a physical presence at large or small, public and private venues. This includes concerts, sporting events, weddings or other special occasions. They check guest lists, patrol all areas, check for parking violators, direct traffic and provide a deterrence to crime / illegal activity. They interact with law enforcement and provide immediate response to emergencies.
