What do you love most about your job?
I love to help small businesses feel comfortable with their books, in many instances my new clients are behind on their accounting and I love to get them in working order and provide feedback that will help them continue to stay on top of their financials so when tax time comes its no longer stressful.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked in public accounting for many years, I was the 'dreaded' auditor who came to your office and essentially reviewed the work of the business to decide whether or not things were going smoothly. Many bookkeepers I worked with felt immense pressure and stress from my presence and did not have a lot of accounting experience, sure they had the basic bookkeeping and data entry skills but in many cases could not understand my questions. I wanted to create a service that would provide an experienced level of expertise and understanding so that audits and tax questions could be answered and understood.
