Very knowledgeable about preventative measures for mold and water running into basement. Maureen went over problem areas and made suggestions based on what is required by building code as well as what would work best for my situation.

I had a completely different experience with this Servpro. We had a sewer backup in our basement a few months ago, and it was NASTY. Our insurance provider suggested this company, and they were fantastic. I thought I would never want to go into my basement ever again, but Servpro took care of everything so well. They came out right away and removed all of the damaged materials and set up a ton of drying equipment. They were so nice and a complete joy to deal with. I read the other review in here, and it sounds a bit ignorant to me..I am guessing they did not have a very good adjuster who explained the process to them. Firstly, any time you make an insurance claim you are authorizing the work. It's your insurance, so you get paid by the insurance company. You are then responsible to pay the company who did the work (our check was written to us, and Servpro). Servpro billed our insurance company directly, too, but I saw this as a huge convenience. I didn't have to submit it myself. Also, to the other reviewer: Does your mortgage company care that your mother is in surgery and can't pay? Your car loan? You don't get a free pass, unfortunately. You have to pay what you owe. I guess I would be mad, too, if someone had a check of mine and wasn't sending it...Anyhow, I totally recommend Servpro. There's not many companies that happily come out to work in 6 inches of poop and leave your home smelling fresh and clean. More...
