Serendipity Salon and Spa

Believe it or not after getting my hair colored for 15 years, I had never gone to a "color specialist." I was at my wits end with my hair color. A friend finally conconced me to go to Serendipity. When I called to make the appointment, I was clear about my problem. My appointment with Vigo began with a half hour consultation, followed by over 4 hours of color correction, highlights and a cut. The results were worth the time spent. My hair looks beautiful and healthy, the entire staff was friendly and my next appointment is in 4 weeks. It was an expensive afternoon, but this is the BEST salon in PGI and the surrounding area.

Having received regular facials since my early 30's for 20+ years now you can imagine the number of different estheticians, salons and products I've experienced both at area salons and during travels . Meeting Elizabeth at Serendipity has been my great fortune. She expertly assessed my skin and took the time to understand my history and listened to my goals, asking intelligent and questions with obvious knowledge of the outcome of the different products and procedures used. Twice now, I've left the salon with confidence and a wonderful sense of well-being under her care. I will go so far as to say what others don't - when you go for a treatment you want the person giving it to walk the walk, not just talk the talk. I can't thank the makeup artist and the staff of Serendipity's for their kindness and awesome experience. My daughter had prom Saturday and the person who was going to do her makeup, backed out at last minute. I called Serendipity's and they said bring her and we will fit her in. The staff was down to earth and made us feel welcome and important. Even going so far as to let her use the upstairs to get dressed. She felt beautiful and confident when we left. I cannot express fully how much I think of Serendipity Salon and Spa in Punta Gorda. It is a first class salon with an incredible staff. I had been searching for a real quality salon where I can count on getting excellent service and this beats any I have been to including my salon in NY. Sue the owner, really has set up a home away from home experience.The salon is beautiful and all of the staff are so friendly. Sue's excellence in styling is among the very best. She did not just cut my hair and style it but did so after carefully checking my bone structure and hair quality. She gave me the best hairdo for my face and hair that I have ever had. Love it. Easy to manage especially here in Fl. I felt so lucky to get a facial treatment by the renowned Ursula from Beverly Hills who managed to make my skin look 10 years younger. Best place ever. Scott was the stylist, I am in Punta Gorda for two weeks for business and needed a new hair style. I was a little hesitant to try another male stylist due to the bad experience I had back at home. But Scott came through with great help and what I feel is the best, most precise haircut I have ever received. Not only was he great, the staff was so welcoming and the spa was beautiful. Hands down favorite spa I have been to. I highly recommend giving this place a try and THEY DO MENS HAIRCUTS as a matter of fact I was the third guy getting my hair cut within the short amount of time I was there. This spa is fantastic!!!!! What a beautiful space. I was visiting Punta Gorda a couple of weeks ago and needed a cut and color and was lucky enough to get an appointment with Scott. He gave me exactly what I asked for and then some!!!! I turned around to look in the mirror when he was done, and can honestly say I have never loved my hair more!!!!! He also showed me how to style it and I continue to love it!!!! He has a genuine passion for what he does.Also, everyone in the spa was very friendly. Serendipity is a world class salon with top notch stylists. I am from Toronto and I was worried about having my hair done here while we stay for the winter. I was introduced to my stylist when I asked a woman where she had her hair cut. This is most amazing place I have ever been to and I have been to quite a few. Everyone is so nice and professional every time I go there I always book my next appointment before I leave. I get my hair done by Sue. I have been to her 3 times now and I would never go anywhere else. She is really fantastic. I moved from Boston with my husband and was concerned about finding the right salon. Well I found it and I love it! Now, I ever had a facial before because I thought that it wouldn't do anything to my skin. I mean I use my creams, stay out of the sun, drink my water and take my supplements so I felt that was enough. The truth is that I totally wrong. I booked a facial with Ursula who is a world famous skin expert from Beverly Hills and who had all the actresses as her clients. I thought at first that it was just going to be a pleasant experience. It was so much more! I came out of the facial room a little over an hour later looking better than I ever had. I still don't know how it is possible to achieve such results in so little time, but even my husband asked me that evening if I had done something different because I looked beautiful. This is my favorite place to go to relax. Jared is a Master at everything and will make your every wish come true. I have had many different requests, many different colors and styles and they all come out perfectly! Sue is a true professional and they pitch in to help each other, which I like. The atmosphere is cool, calm and loving. You can also have a world class facial. Please don't let anyone tell you any different; they are simply the best!

I was visiting from out of town and was scheduled with Sue for a shampoo, blow dry, flat iron. My hair turned out great and the staff was very friendly I like the products they use. Overall a very good experience.
