I needed to get my hair done for my cousins wedding and had no idea where to look. So..I did as I always do and searched a few places on Yelp, I came across this place.  Serena did my hair and I absolutely loved it.  I sent her what I wanted and she also asked to send a picture of my hair prior to meeting her.  When I met her the day of I showed her a few ideas that I liked and she pulled it together.  She was seriously great and definitely someone to remember.  This review is long over due but she definitely needs the recognition.  (Better late than never) I am looking for a new place in San Diego and all I could think about is I wish I had her there to do my hair for this wedding!She is super sweet and knows what she is doing.  If you need someone to do your hair for any special event she is great.  Shes very responsive and will work with you to help get you what you want.  Highly recommended. I have long curly hair which is impossible to work with sometimes. I also live out of state and only get my hair done when I am home. I have been coming to Serena for several years now, and she always adds body and color back into my hair! I highly recommend her! More...

I love the having the California Smooth keratin treatment done!!! Serena did a fabulous job! My hair feels and looks amazing, frizz free. "As good as it gets" is correct! I'm glad I found her because she's very good at meeting your needs... in my case demands lol. I don't care too much about how I come out of a salon as long as my hair is symmetric! One thing she said to me that will make me come back is "fix your hair as if you were at home." I used product and a hair dryer, no other place did that for me. If I was to find anything I wanted corrected she'd do it! (i did and she did! lol). Go see her! More...

I had never heard of Serendipity Productions before. I was on the hunt to find someone to do my hair and makeup for a boudoir portrait shoot. I called Serendipity Productions and left a voice mail. Turns out she was in Las Vegas but took the time to call me back and talk to me. We spoke again after she returned and she was in the process of leaving one shop and opening another. She came to me to do my hair and makeup. She was SO professional and the job she did on my face and hair was incredible!! I can't begin to tell you how many compliments I received that day....and my hubby was drooling! This was the most pleasant experience! I highly recommend her for your hair and makeup....she is SO very talented and you will feel like a star by the time she is done! AND the best part? She doesn't charge an arm and a leg! I came to Serena today in desperation. I dyed my hair pink in chunks, and it was time to relieve myself of the less-than-classy do. Serena took my appointment same day, and even offered to drop $20 off the bill because I was coming last minute and was in need of a hair EMERGENCY!!Serena has more than 30 years of experience, and her salon is as adorable and stylish as she is. She fixed my color by covering the pink with a more natural red/auburn, and used temporary dye so that if I didn't like it, I could get it changed.  She also fixed my cut (bangs and layers), while maintaining my length and bouncy style for my big curls.   She washed and styled my hair at the end. She did it all for $60!I am extremely happy with my hair and my experience, and will definitely be going back to Serena. More...

Serena is the nicest hair stylist I've ever had.  She really understand hair, which is hard to say for most in the industry.  My hair was very long, poorly shaped and full of split ends.  Serena not only rescued me from an out of date look by reshaping my hair and giving me a deep conditioning treatment, she also taught me how to style it on my own.  She also offered to pick up supplies for me because I told her I am very busy and would not have time to shop.Would definitely recommend.
