The staff are friendly, but it's somewhat far from the local restaurants, thereby forcing the majority of people to go to the in-house restaurant Packers which in my opinion is overpriced. I booked 3 nights thru Hotels.com, but when I checked in, there was no record of my reservation. I showed my confirmation email, but they couldn’t find me under my name or the confirmation #. Fortunately, they had rooms available, but not the Executive Suite I wanted. I took the balcony suite with the water view, and the clerk gave me a night free and 2 drink vouchers. The resort itself is very quaint in a great location. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. You definitely want a water view. The resort has a large heated outdoor pool and covered hot tub. You can rent a bike for free for an hour. However, the food is pricey, and my steak was tough and dry. The spa is pricey as well, and even tho I booked a package, the massage and facial are booked at different times. One day, our room wasn’t cleaned, and the clerk took $100 off our bill. Overall, staff were friendly. You have to leave a credit card # upon arrival and upon checkout, the cc was declined, leaving my husband and I to scramble to pay the bill. After being on hold with MC for 25 minutes, he found out that everything we charged to our room, which was everything, was blocked on the card, using up the available credit.When we tried to pay the bill, in essence, all charges were on there twice, which put him over the credit limit. They don’t tell you this when you check in. Had we known, we would have charged everything to the card. This used up our time, and made it look like we couldn’t pay for our stay More...

This is a great resort for anyone looking to get away for a weekend and unwind. Located at the end of the peninsula, it comes with a great view and provides several accomodations so you don't have to leave the resort, including several restaurants for adults and children alike, besides their nightly bonfire and similar activities.
