We had our 3 year old in class here for a few months. He is quite a strong willed child and the instructors were so great with him. Landon truly was proud of his kicks and such that he learned. The empowerment and confidence they instill there are top notch. We hope to return when Landon is a little older and can manage sitting still a little better ☺️. Highly recommend! More...

My son has attended Self-Defense Global since he was 4 and he's now a kindergartener. In addition to the physical benefits, he's learned self-discipline, respect for himself and others, the ability to concentrate, to listen, and to follow directions. Eric, the owner, is great at talking to and working with all ages of kids, coming from all different places. I highly recommend Self-Defense Global KC. I actually only stopped here for a graduation ceremony for a friend's kid who went from a white belt to one with a yellow stripe. But it was amazeballs. It was amazing to see the kids discipline and enthusiasm for something. This is the kind of place where kids learn respect for self, peers, and elders as well as the skills for self defense and other martial arts. More...

Krav Maga (Contact Combat) is the best martial art I've seen, Very practical, and direct. The owner's and instructors are just great people too! Highly recommended.

This is one is the most professional, genuine gyms I've ever had the pleasure if dealing with. My son learned Krav Maga here, executed with skill and real, genuine usefulness! Unlike a lot of martial arts gyms, Eric and his whole team of instructors are truly qualified, and teach tactics that can REALLY be executed effectively in real life situations, that could truly save your life; not to mention the whole team is like a big, welcoming family! Self Defense Global is more than a karate place. They teach kids about being respectful and being the best person they can be in karate, at home and in the classroom.
