The relationship between counselor and client can create a vessel or space in which we can unpack and sort through your concerns with care, compassion, and confidentiality. Cara uses a combination of Cognive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Person-Centered approaches to work with clients. When necessary Cognitive Processing Therapy can be utilized in healing from trauma. Cara is also trained in Play Therapy techniques.
