Sedra May Photography

Sedra came to me personally when I was looking for a photographer and told me about her maternity model call. Before the session even happened I instantly felt comfortable with her as we had been messaging almost everyday for ideas on the shoot, she then called for a mini consultation the day before the shoot and even helped my husband and myself come up with outfits! At the photo shoot she was amazing! Very sweet comforting lady. When I heard about fresh 48 shoots I instantly knew I HAD to have Sedra take our photos and she did! She went out of her way to make sure she could accommodate us as we were 3 weeks early having our baby boy. She became more of a friend to us rather than "the photographer". When Sedra learned that my dad was ill, she contacted me and told me about the type of photography that she does. I have known Sedra for several years and knew that this offer was coming from her heart and felt honored that she called. We knew we probably didn't have much time so she rearranged her schedule so that we could shoot that weekend. She came over to take pictures of my dad and us making sauerkraut. What an amazing day! She took pics, she rolled her sleeves up and helped to make the sauerkraut and drank wine and ate lunch with us. It never once felt like there was a "photographer" there, just a friend hanging out. My dad passed 3 weeks later and I am so touched by the photos that she took and am glad that I will have those memories for my lifetime. Yesterday we had our Maternity photos done by Sedra at Mud Wall Farm! She was so great! Her bubbly personality made us feel comfortable and she was so helpful with suggesting poses, and fixing my shirt that was being difficult and wanting to wrinkle � She kept my 4 year old son busy and interested the whole time! She said turn around would be about a week or so and she surprised me today with my whole gallery delivered! Absolutely wonderful images she caught for us and would recommend her for sure!! My husband and I had an early maternity shoot with Sedra and were BEYOND impressed with how comfortable she made us feel, and with how much fun we had. We felt like we could just be ourselves, and the end result were pictures that captured our marriage perfectly!!! We had a few months to plan out the perfect shoot, and then tragedy struck my family so plans fell off. But with a maternity shoot, you only have a window of time before, well, you don’t have the “maternity” part for the shoot. So despite all the hectic we both had going on, she pulled off a BEAUTIFUL maternity shoot for me, and always made me feel comfortable. You could have no experience or preference in front of a camera and follow direction poorly, and Sedra will still make it happen. I highly recommend her! More...
