Hands down the best spot for nightlife on the Outer Banks. The owner and staff stay on the creative edge to deliver quality fun and entertainment for their guests. This is a place where you can drink and let loose to great music in two different rooms. There are THREE bars..The main bar, a bar in the back room, and even a bar outside! Make sure you check out Fat Charlie’s wings. They are being served hot and fresh for all guests until close! Check this place out and have a great time. They say 18+ from 7-10pm but when checked at the door we were denied entrance. After leaving I called the tavern asking the age and were told yet again the age was 18+ from 7-10pm and after 10pm 21+. I then told the man who answered the phone that we were in fact of age and he told us that it was the front mans decision weather or not to let us in even though we are of age. More...

This is a great venue with very good staff. We have been to a couple of shows there and had a great time. The bar operates well with responsive bartenders, the upstairs is a awesome vantage point to the stage to enjoy the shows and a great sound system to listen to.
