If you’re planning for a photo session this place it’s beautiful but I don’t recommend morning 8-11am it’s not a good time unless your local Or are staying on a close by hotel and consider getting there with at least with your hair done And makeup, because its only a 3 Hours appointment. I have to say Nadia was very nice but blanca has attitude, there are different ways to comunícate especially if you’re running a business, even when you’re right you don’t need to be rude, not everyone react the same way, it make me fell uncomfortable, at the end she let us stay longer because brides coming after didn’t arrive, so that was unnecessary and could been said differently. On Saturday my brother got married in this place everything was amazing except the valet parking service . Horrible attitude. Every car they brought they where burning the tires.... idk why I spoke to the supervisor. He just laughed at my face . I had a destination wedding, so all the planning and communication was done via phone, email, pictures, and text messages. If you could imagine, I was nervous and Naturally unsure about how this was all going to unfold. Joe and Blanca put me at ease, the communication was impeccable. They assisted us in finding our photographer (OCP photography), our DJ (Mikey Forte), and our Caterer(Complete Events Catering). Our wedding exceeded our expectations and our 60 guest who also traveled for our wedding were blown away. Everything ran on time, smooth and they went out of their way to make our wedding day a very special day to remember. What can I say.. this venue speaks for itself. It's a beautiful oasis of gorgeous natural scenery all around. Our guests were blown away. .. it's not everyday in south Florida that you get to be immersed in this type of nature... vibrant greenery all around, waterfalls, colorful fish, beautiful clear waters... it's a dream. My husband and I visited five or six different venues before making our final decision but the Secret Gardens stole the show from the moment we stepped foot into this magical place. I just knew *this* is where I wanted to say I do to the love of my life. This venue is truly magical for hosting a wedding. Everyone loved how beautiful it was and said how it’s so different from what they’re used to seeing in Miami. Our beach/tropical-theme wedding was informal and so the use of elaborate decorations wasn’t necessary because this place really speaks for itself and is beautiful enough as it is. One of our guests who was Based in Hawaii said this venue reminded her of “home” and looked like a Hawaiian wedding. (Mission accomplished here, lol.) Blanca and Joe, the owners, are so sincere and helpful and very motherly and fatherly in nature. They and their staff were always available to talk to and ask for help whether in-person or by phone and always called back after I left a voicemail. They also have a very good network of vendors that are reasonable in pricing and great to work with but were also not mandatory to use as with other venues. (We used Sogno D’Elite for catering and DJ Renier for music/MC, however we used our own photographer/videographer from The Camera Wedding.)We highly recommend the use of the tent-- rain or shine. It’s so gorgeous inside at night time and makes for great pictures of all the important dances and the garter and bouquet tosses! As for the bathrooms, I was thrilled to find out they were remodeled just recently before our wedding! Lol We had about 85 guests and the bathrooms were well-kept throughout the night- many big thanks to staff!! (Something to note: there's one bathroom per gender.) Also, the kids and even the adults enjoyed feeding the fish at the different ponds during cocktail hour which was a nice detail and kept the guests with a little something to do while we took our pictures-- I’m so glad Blanca suggested it!!Hubby and I give Secret Gardens and staff 10 thumbs up!!! We couldn’t be happier with our decisions and I can’t wait to be back for a future maternity shoot!! Lol More...
