Dave did a fantastic job as the DJ for our 1990s themed party! His communication leading up to the event was great and he worked really well with the crowd on the night of the party! What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Playing the big hits that everyone knows and loves. Not everyone likes the same stuff so you have to mix it up a bit- and the type of songs that seem to be getting the best response tend to be what gets played next.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I Like to play a popular mix of Rock and R&B with forgotten "deep cuts" that everyone remembers but don't hear on the radio anymore. I also like to cater to the client who may like some genres and dislike others.
What do you love most about your job?
When people cheer and dance whenever their favorites are played is very rewarding.
What inspired you to start your own business?
At a anniversary party many years ago the DJ was playing a lot of 50's-80's music and had everybody on their feet dancing. This was all music I loved and grew up with and knew very well- why not do the same thing? After all, I had been already providing music for parties in the 80's and 90's so DJing was a no brainer. Now I have all the equipment and songs ready for any venue.

I know this music because I lived it. I know all the great hits and deep cuts. I know a lot of really great dance floor fillers- sitting idle at your event will not be an option.
