Unfortunately, I didn't get to pull the trigger on this but they were SO HOPEFUL in kind of distilling down some ideas and the process to completion seemed simple enough. Â However the cake I needed was more urgent than they could handle. Â Which was a couple of hours. Â I was astonished how they told me I could order today and have it tomorrow.Very impressive. Â Check out their Instagram page as well.Next time I will plan better and give them more time to spread their wings on the custom cake idea I had. Â It was a really good one! Nayeli at Custom cakes is so sweet. She allowed our team to place a 4 tier cake order with only a weeks notice along with some Minnie Mouse cookies. She loves what she does and values customer service and it shows.She goes out of her way for her customers and is mindful of budgets and requests. I was looking for a place to have a custom Willy Wonka cake made for my sons 7th birthday party. I found SD Custom Cakes and spoke with the owner and discussed what I wanted to have done, she did not disappoint. The cake came out beautiful with all of the details that I wanted and then some. Everybody at the party was impressed with the cake and asked where I had it made. It not only looked awesome the taste was perfect, not too sweet and had plenty of flavor. Local bakery in San Marco's. It's so cute and the desserts are delicious! I'd recommend coming in to speak to the owner. They do excellent work with decorations. It's an all woman run business!! Chicks that bake! Im amazed. The owner was really nice and you get a free cookie with your first purchase!!!! I'm only visiting in California but I will come out of my way to visit this place again.
