Apparently, contractors do not have to provide good customer service in order to stay in business. The only exception we found was Scott's Construction - they are awesome people to do business with! It astounded us how almost every contractor we contacted acted like they were interested in the job, then blew us off at some point - either leading us to believe they were working on an estimate, or even wasting all of our time to come out and take a look or a second look and take measurements, and then not even a courtesy call to tell us they weren't interested. What astounded us even more is we were treated this way even by contractors that were old friends, and friends of friends. In my opinion, that is not just poor business, but poor character. If you didn't want the job, all you had to do was tell us. Well, we were able to sift through all the garbage and find a contractor who was true to his word and really came through. Scott's Construction got the job done! I would not recommend ANYONE ELSE that we contacted. A big THANK YOU to Scott Arnold and Hilary and co. It was a pleasure to work with you guys and we appreciate everything that it took to get the job done, and done well! Thank you!!! More...

I have know scott for many years. Pretty much my whole life! Very straight forward. Very honest! I know a lot of other contractors who do not care about their work. Scott is not one of them. Up most high class down to earth contractor i have ever had the pressure of working with. He really deserved 10 stars but it only lets me give him 5 lol More...

I was very pleased with Scott's Construction. We employed them to repair a deck. They did a superb job. The deck was dipping on one corner and when they started the project they figured out that it was caused part of the deck heaving up. The considered possible fixes and chose one that saved money and time. While the were here they did other deck tune ups and our deck is markedly in much better shape. Scott is a United States Marine Corps veteran who prides himself, personally and in his business, in following the values of the Marines…Honor, Courage and Commitment. He has been in and around the world of construction his entire life, starting out early with his father’s construction business. He loves what he does and chose to work in this industry because he truly enjoys working with his hands, building and repairing things, and appreciates seeing a project from start to finish.
