This was my first time eating at Schoepf's. It was recommended by friend who met my wife and me there for lunch. Our friend wanted a sausage popper but they had been bought out. After we ordered and were seated, the owner actually took the time and prepared one just for her and brought it out to the table. This was very special customer service. best dang bbq in central Texas I'm a food connoisseur from seafood to the sauces that go on food.. I think ya'll should have grilled Gulf shrimp. . it's got to be Gulf shrimp. I'm from Houston and we bought ours off the boats along the gulf coast. a lot of people are health conscious about what they eat including myself.. I've worked in different food establishments from Kema rothe Temple area and have sampled food from around the US. the best sausage And sauce I had was in the 70S in Smithville tx. best pizza was Shaky's San Antonio and chicken fry was the hungry farmer. Maine has the best lobster and Alaska the best crab legs. ⁰. Everything is just excellent at Schoepf’s BBQ. The brisket is seasoned and cooked perfectly. I’ve been eating at Lockhart, Taylor, and Luling bbq joints since I was a kid and this place is easily as good as any of them. I don’t usually get sides when I eat bbq, but the green beans looked so good I gave them a try and was not disappointed. I was at Schoepf’s this morning for a meeting and had my 6yo kiddo with me (#summer). I let him run up front to order himself breakfast with my card and Jason was so awesome to him! ! Took his order and even ran back to me to make sure it was correct! I really appreciate his kindness to my 6yo!
