I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Killy of Scheer & Co on a total gut remodel and addition residential project. Not only was she a joy to collaborate with, she brought great perspective and ideas to the project- from start to finish. I'm very intuitive person, so I can say I'm so sensitive to any energies. Needless to say my home, I was looking for someone who was very sincere, trustworthy and professional interior designer for my bathroom renovation project. I still remember when I met Killy, she had great energies with stylish attire and made me feel comfortable. As soon as she left, I made up my mind that I had to hire her! My intuition was right, my small old bathroom turned out so beautifully with urban taste what I needed and even more than what I expected! She was very helpful and friendly but professional and I love her energies. I am so grateful for her hard work and thoughtfulness.
Due to moving, I had to sell my apartment which was sad thing because I didn't want to leave my beautiful bathroom, but lucky enough that many buyers did fall in love with the bathroom and I could sell it out quickly more than any other sellers in that area.

Our house flooded due to contractor error and consequently two bathrooms had to be gutted and renovated. It was too much for me to handle on my own, and Killy offered her services. Hiring her was the best decision I made during the renovations. She was wonderful to work with and went above and beyond being just an interior designer. In addition to coming up with a beautiful, fitting schematic design for our historic home, she communicated with our contractor regularly and stepped in to assist with technical decisions. When the bathrooms were completed I asked her to assist me with pulling the rest of the house together. She helped me spend our dollars in a smart way, offering up her knowledge of products and solutions for our environment, while incorporating our old furniture, fabrics, and window treatments. Working with Killy of Scheer & Co. was truly a joy! From the beginning of the project when she helped me identify my design style and scope of the project, to the end when she made sure the contractor delivered on every last detail - Killy didn't miss a beat. In the best way possible she made me think a little differently and brought me ideas that I never would have come up with on my own. The project was done on time and within budget. My only regret is that I didn't do more with Killy on my apartment before she moved from New York City to Austin. She is a pleasure to work with, holds everyone accountable, and makes you feel happy to come home to your "new home" every day. We met Killy in the fall of 2013. She walked into our home (slated for a complete remodel starting in early 2014), and I was immediately blown away by her style and confidence. She radiated classy professionalism, and we were hooked! She listened to our goals for the project and after some targeted photo sleuthing, she coined our design style (Urban Bungalow)... we hadn't even been aware that we had a design style!

Over the course of many grueling remodel months, she made our life incredibly easy by introducing fun and adventure, helping us select some truly beautiful finishes. She combined classic charm with modern touches, guiding our selections in such an organic way. We worked really well together, and even when I went rogue few times, she reeled me back in with gentle reminders of our ultimate goal.

We are about 2 weeks away from completion, and it's all come together so magnificently. Our home wouldn't look nearly as beautiful and timeless as it does now had she not stepped in. I am so grateful. Worth every penny. More...
