Jim, Amanda and all the staff were so wonderful during my wedding in March. Jim knows exactly the tips to give to make sure that your wedding runs smoothly and Amanda was always available when I had a question and was very prompt in answering. Michelle was so helpful the day of the wedding and worked with all of our vendors to make sure everything went perfectly. The venue itself is so beautiful and so many guests complimented the amazing food and wonderful ambiance. Amanda recommended a hotel for our out of town guests that provides a shuttle to and from the venue and local B&Bs for our wedding party to stay in. The team that worked with us on our daughter, Melody's, wedding at the Kyle House was top notch. They were professional and proactive about every single detail. As much as being the best possible place we could have chosen for such an important moment in our lives, was the fact that everyone was kind and loving through the whole process. They were accommodating and generous in all aspects. Caroline Hammond was our wedding planner and was the one that recommended the Kyle house. I will forever be grateful to her for being such a beautiful guiding light in the process. Caroline, along with Amanda treated us like family. They were patient and attentive. Jim did a fantastic job with the suggestions and execution of the menu. Our budget went so much farther than any other option we could have chosen because of the care with which the team worked to be sure we were happy with our selections and that they fit within our financial setpoints. I will be forever grateful for what every person connected with the Kyle House did, through what turned out to be one of the toughest weeks in their lives, to be sure that our family could enjoy a moment in time we will cherish for the rest of ours. We had our wedding at the Kyle House just a couple weeks ago and I can't even put into words how wonderful it was to work with Amanda and Jim and the rest of the staff! Our wedding went off without a hitch! I can't tell you how many compliments we got on regards to the food and the venue, everyone was pleased and loved everything! The bartender, David was phenomenal! We had a set bar tab and then it was to be cash bar after that tab was met, he set specific drinks for me and my husband aside to make sure we got some and he was great about making sure no one drank too much. I was recently a bridesmaid, and I'm very impressed with this venue! I absolutely loved the environment, especially the vintage feel from top to bottom. They had plenty of space for people to either dance, eat, or just relax on one of their comfortable couches. They had 2 spacious rooms for the guys and gals. The buffet they provided was tasteful and delicious. All around excellent event, and I recommend this to anyone who's looking for a venue! More...

My family and i were blown away by The Kyle House. We had a friday wedding and the wind was blowing a consistent 40 mph the entire day and it knocked the power out of the whole town! Jim and his team used generators and hundreds of candles to make my wedding day go off without a hitch! We are so impressed and feel so loved by their hard work!!! All of our guests said it was the best location and wedding they had ever been too and by far the most romantic with all the candles. Also- the bartender was also amazing! He let my husband and i take a fun picture behind the bar for our photographer and then made us a special sangria for our day. OH! And he made the bridal party mimosas. I went with my daughter and her fiancé to tour The Kyle House as she wanted to make a decision about her wedding venue. Amanda, one of the owners was very accommodating as we had a difficult time getting off from work and she agreed to meet with us in the evening. The pictures on the internet do not even come close to capturing the beauty. My daughter will be able to get married, have the reception and spend her wedding night in the fabulous restored cabin. The attention to detail show throughout the venue. I would greatly recommend The Kyle House to anyone who wants to have a great venue at a reasonable price. More...

Absolutely amazing! We got married here July 7th 2018 and let me tell you, it was perfect. The Kyle House has amazing staff. Everyone there is so friendly and patient. Even when you have 5 million questions! What we loved most about The Kyle House was the atmosphere. No need to go cray cray with decorations! The House is simply beautiful the way they have it. Owners are wonderful, easy going, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the business they run! Owner/Chef-menu was wonderful and he was willing to offer options to us that better fit our preferences, everyone said the food was SO good- and it was! Great venue space! Decoration options provided and little to no work required from bridal party. Staff the day/night of event was also so kind and amazing! Mike, bartender nothing but friendly and pleasant! It's hard to be thrilled about anything at a funeral, but I was thrilled with the food, presentation and service provided by Jim Schaal and his team. He completely understood the mood we were trying to create. Jim worked with me on the menu and everything was delicious. The edamame humus was superb as was the pasta salad. Many of the dishes had interesting twists. The garnishes and presentation were delightful and understated as we requested. Jim was soo easy to work with and he did everything we requested.
