Great atmosphere. Great food. I was in town for a couple of days and made it a point to come back before leaving. I strongly recommend the Fried Eggplant with the House Chips (vegetarian options).

Wjfe and I stopped in Friday evening and enjoyed some blue cheese potato chips, a boar sausage and green olive pizza and a glass of wine. The service was excellent- staff was attentive and aware of their guests. The food was perfect- the chips had just the right amount of blue cheese so they were crunchy without being soggy, and the pizza was delicious. It had just the right amount of sausage and olives so it wasn't overpowering, and every bite was a delight. The wine was good too, which is to be expected in Mendo- I had a glass of their house red and Steph had a house white and they were both tasty. The most pleasant surprise was the check- we got out of there for 60 dollars including tip, and we tipped pretty good. We were too full for dessert, so next time we'll visit on a nice warm day and enjoy the outdoor seating and have a glass of wine with a dessert. I recommend this place wholeheartedly- in addition to great food I noticed they have a large selection of craft beers. I hope they stick around and judging by the crowd that was coming there I'm sure they will. Call ahead for reservations. And try the boar sausage/ olive pizza. More...
