Not much of a place to sit and eat, but good to get take out from. They do have the best vada pav and kachi dabeli in San Diego. I've tried Rasraj and some of the other Indian places, but quantity and price wise, these guys definitely beat the others. Best vegetarian restaurant I have been too! Everything was just amazing. The thing I didn't care for was like dessert of the plate, it was just too sweet for me but it did taste great.
I am sure if you were not told it was a vegetarian restaurant you could not tell. The staff is also nice and the restaurant is very clean.

This hidden gem is located between furniture stores and auto shops. I got excited after reading some reviews claiming this place to be the best vegetarian in San Diego. While I respectfully disagree, I welcome the slightly different take on Indian restaurants. First, decor. It has high chairs with high tables. All hardwood. You can rest your foot on the bar so it is not uncomfortable. Second, many boxed snacks and desserts for the grabs. Want some gulab jamun without the wait? No problem. Altough I find gulab jamun to be pricey (I am comparing to canned one). I got the mini thali to go. It came with wheat flat bread, plain rice, soup, palak paneer, and something called sev tamatar (like angel hair in tomato sauce). It was carb-heavy for sure. If you could little improve on the ambiance that would please the customers I feel.
As the ventilation was a problem it was a kind of stinking smell. It would be really a great place to dine inn if you improve on these aspects.
