First and foremost, Santana is extremely talented and creative. My family has had the pleasure of working with Santana for almost 4 years (pregnancy announcement, maternity, newborn, Christmas, 1st birthday, pictures in Roger Williams Park, etc. ). Her demeanor is kind and she puts us at ease right away, which resulted in amazing pictures right from the start. Santana instinctively knew exactly how to coach my son on how to place a hand, or tilt his head in order to maximize the shot. Strolling around in Roger Williams Park she clearly has an eye for backgrounds that suited my son and the outfit he was wearing. The photo shoots are always well thought out and she can articulate her vision so that you understand what the finished photo will look like. Additionally, Santana was a pleasure to work with on a business level. Santana was responsive by phone and email. Santana is always really prompt with delivering the photos, in most cases we got a teaser photo the same day! Our edited photos were ready for viewing just a few days following the shoot. Editing and ordering were convenient, and the pricing was definitely reasonable - especially for this level of quality. Santana Dykas Photography is amazing! I used her my son's 1st birthday themed pictures. The theme was "Where the wild things are. " She brought some props to go along with the theme and had some adorable ideas! Even did a photo where she entered him into what looked like a page from the book. She took adorable photos at his 2nd birthday party as well! My newborn (2nd child) was born 4 months ago. He wouldn't sleep during the photo shoot so it was hard to pose him but she had phenomenal patience for him and ended up getting the most adorable photos. She has such an eye for a great photo! Santana is a real MASTER of her craft. In the past she has photographed and captured many special moments (pregnancy announcement, maternity photos, family pictures, etc. ) and most recently she photographed my week old son. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience! She is very professional and sweet with a great personality. There is something special about her and the way she works with newborns, almost angelic.
