I've been going to Santa Rosa Strength for years. I'm the type of person who, with good intentions, joined various gyms in the past in hopes of building my strength. However, more often that not, I wasn't able to maintain my exercise program. At Santa Rosa Strength, that's not an option, because the excellent trainers walk you through it every step of the way! Santa Rosa Strength owners Steve and Wes are compassionate and care about your well being. Their knowledgable about nutrition and are an expertise in the correct ways of strengthening your muscles without injury or overworking them. I don't have a lot of time working out at the gym to strengthen my muscle properly and I want to keep my muscles strong. It's only 20 minutes a week taken out of my schedule with a great trainer by my side who also advises me on nutrition to keep me healthy. I enjoy my weekly workout sessions with Wes Hardy. More...

15 years ago I had back surgery and was told I would need another one in 3 to 4 years. I've been going to Santa Rosa strength for 14 years and never had that second surgery. Thank you Wes and Steve.

Professional, Friendly, Fast P.R.E. WorkOut (just 20 minutes for all over body workout), Effective. I love working w/Steven Reis as my main trainer (have also enjoyed working w/his wife Deanna as well as trainers Wes, Drew). I always feel comfortable in relating to them, challenged and encouraged in my workouts.My muscles L♡VE Santa Rosa Strength, the workout make em haPpY! I feel good knowing I'm keeping my bones strong as I mature♡, my core strong, working important muscle groups. I have been going to Santa Rosa Strength for about a year. Theses guys are first rate. They will make sure you build maximum strength in a safe and injury free way. The benefits of the 20 minute per week workout here transfer over to all my other physical activities. It is truly incredible to get so much benefit from such a short workout. I've been working out with Steve at Santa Rosa Strength for 7 years. They are great and really know their stuff. My strength has improved by leaps and bounds and I get much more out of my sessions here than working out at the gym alone. I love and hate Christmas.  No silly people, not the holiday.... the personal trainer with Santa Rosa Strength. Christmas is the best. I love her. She will make you strong without injury! It's a once a week 20 min work out that works for us semi-quasai lazy people.  She has so much knowledge of the body and your muscles.  I love how organized they are there. Every work out is charted. I hate Christmas because in 20 min. she makes me lift and push heavy things.  She makes me work for it. She makes my legs quiver and my arms wobble. I especially hate how right she is when I feel AMAZING after a workout.  I would hate not having her in my life. More...

To clarify, this review is for Santa Rosa Strength, at 1260 N Dutton Avenue. Whether or not you like this place will depend on what you want in a gym. If you want to lounge about in a hot tub, meet your friends for a smoothie, watch meatheads posing in the mirror, and dabble in a dozen different jazzercise classes, this is not your place.If you want to get strong, really strong, without spending all your time, without injuring yourself, and without spending a fortune, then here you go. It's all about strength here, and that's all it is.You don't get to just pop in here whenever you feel like it. You have a standing weekly appointment with your trainer, and he will be there if you are there. He will control everything about your workout. If you have not worked out with a pro before, you will be surprised by how much they get out of you. You will lift more, slower, and in perfect form. You will not stop until you can't do one more rep. Then it's on to the next muscle group. Your workout should be completed in less than half an hour. They charge $160 per month.This would be boring except that my trainer is a fun, funny, excellent person who can keep you entertained while you do things you would never do on your own.I started out 4 years ago leg-pressing 40 pounds and now I am at 217. Not bad for a 62 year old woman. So I think I can say it's working for me. More...
