Sang and his team did my hair and makeup for my wedding this past Saturday for me, my bridesmaids, and both moms. They did such an amazing job for everyone! They use really expensive products and make sure everyone is satisfied with their work-- they even took the time to re-do my super picky bridesmaid's hair! Here's the crazy part. We unfortunately chose the HOTTEST day of the year to get married (110 degrees in Pasadena) so we were really worried the makeup would melt off our sweaty faces, but our makeup/hair stayed perfect the ENTIRE day/night! I had my make up done for outdoor shooting and wedding day from Sang Park. I absolutely loved it. My husband loved it. My parents loved it. I got lots of complements after the wedding itself. And also the photographer also mentioned that the make up was well done for photo shoots.I have been recommending him to all my friends for their weddings, their kid's first year birthday parties, rehersal dinners, and so forth. I had the pleasure of working with Sang and his talented team for my Wedding. They truly take the time to make sure their clients feel comfortable and well taken care of. And most importantly, Sang is a true artist. He does not use the same template on each client. He is the master of the effortless natural look. Sang was my makeup artist along with my bridesmaids, and both mothers and him and his assistant managed to finish all of them on time which was one of the things I was very nervous about. I was introduced to him by my hair designer who knows how particular I am with everything and knew he would be a good fit. He uses great cosmetics which is why he is def more pricier than other mua. If you are not willing to spend more than 300 on your wedding day just for makeup, he might not be the done for you, although it is once in a lifetime experience so you might as well spend the extra $$ and have good photos and great memories! I was feeling a bit nervous the morning of my wedding but Sang's fun and easygoing personality definitely helped me laugh and put my nerves at ease. If you are going for a beautiful and natural look, makeup artist Sang and hair artist Deborah make the perfect team! They are professional, reliable, and will carefully listen to what you want to make sure you are happy with the final look. I can't be happier with my hair and makeup! Sang is very responsive and patient! He always responded to my questions in a timely manner. He also accommodated my last-minute changes. Sang & his team did my makeup for my wedding last Saturday & it was amazing! Â My bridesmaids and I really like our makeups. Â Our appointment was 7am and Sang arrived right on time, very professional. Had my wedding back on Apr. He did My wedding day, Casual and Formal makeup. and also my mom and aunt on wedding day too. I knew him through my mom since she got some free makeup trial from him . I don't wear eye make up at all so I was very nervous and skeptical about his skills. So I did the trial on my formal shooting day and it turns out perfect. better than I expected. At the last minute, I was looking for a make-up artist who's great with natural make-up, similar to korean style. Sang was highly recommended, and I decided to ask Sang for his availability. He was very accommodating, agreeing to come beautify me for my wedding despite having cleared his holiday weekend before. He always made sure to say "make sure you decide what's most comfortable for you, and don't worry about us. We want to do what's going to make the bride the happiest." On the day of the wedding, he was very pleasant, easy to get along with, knowledgeable, and professional. He was willing to touch up my family members & friend who needed it, and was so meticulous with everyone! Everyone was so happy with their makeup. Most importantly, however, I was most happy with my bridal makeup! I kept getting compliments about how natural and it enhanced my natural look rather than covering it. If you want to do yourself a favor you must book Sang for your wedding. Â I kid you not, I went to 4 different trials and all cannot compare to Sang. Â For some reason I never knew it was so hard trying to find a hair/makeup artist. Â Either the makeup was too dry, cakey, dark, light, smudgy, etc. Â But Sang's makeup is so flawless, and enhances your natural beauty (the look you want as a bride). Â The makeup doesn't feel cakey and he makes your skin glow. Â He really listened to what I wanted, and he did not disappoint. Â By the end of the trial I had paid my deposit and finally found my makeup artist! Â Also he has an amazing hair stylist who did my hair the EXACT way I wanted! My mom found Sang Park through our wedding dress lady. Â I was a bit reserved bc I didn't want to look or feel like I was CAKED in makeup (from my experience with other makeup artists). Before I met him, I had a few questions and even though he was out of the country and on vacation, he was VERY prompt and really took the time to answer my questions.He did my make up for my engagement photoshoot and it was awesome. Â He was so welcoming and easy to talk to. Â He got to know me, what my style preferences were and went off of that to make my look more me, which I really appreciated. Â He didn't cake on makeup, it was very light and my fake eyelashes didn't even bother me all day and the looked very natural. Â The make up lasted for 12 hours! We were sweating (it ended up being the hottest day in LA) profusely at our first location and it even lasted at the beach (second location)! Â My hair was just curled at the ends and it lasted almost all day...the wind really picked up at the beach and it lost its curls. Â He will also be doing my hair and makeup for my wedding in a few months, can't wait!The costs are very reasonable and I even recommended him to my best friend who's getting married later this year! I was referred to Sang by a friend. I am really happy that I chose him for my wedding makeup and hair. He is very friendly, super fast with corresponding via email or text, and a very talented make up artist. Â I have received so many compliments on my hair and makeup for my engagement photos as well as my wedding. My bridesmaids were Korean, Black, Chinese, and Mexican. Sang was able to work with all the different skin tones and hair textures with no issue. His team arrived the day of to our hotel right on time. They quickly set up and got to work.
