I am just getting around to writing a review for the workshop that I attended few months back. Gary, and Mary both did an excellent job in this workshop! I felt like they gave me individual attention to where I am at for my skill level. The workshop was very detailed and provided everyone there with the knowhow and tools to better our game in the real estate photography industry. I waited a little to write my review, mainly to see how the product they provided would help me in the field. It has definitely changed the quality of the product that I am delivering to my customers. And helped me get faster at what I do in the field and in post processing. I would defiantly recommend Gary's workshop to anyone looking to improve their skillset!! It is obvious Gary has put a lot of time into the craft and has the skills to help you get to his level. YES!! I was lucky enough to be one of the inaugural participants at Gary’s workshop this past Saturday. WOW. Gary and his wife Mary were incredibly gracious hosts. It was clear that they had gone to great lengths to deliver an in-depth look into how Gary achieves the quality of work that he does. Gary was specific, articulate, and very patient, as we were throwing a ton of questions at him all day. Now a couple weeks after the workshop and having been able to utilize the tools Gary shared with us that day, my real estate photography game has grown unimaginably in this short period. He showed us in detail how to first be able to light the room, and get the exposures we need to edit with, and then to be able to take them into LR/PS and produce top quality images. I've included my favorite image from that day that is a prime example of these efforts.Yes we paid to be there, and it was worth every penny and more to me. Gary Kasl at Socal Property Portraits is a pleasure to work with, and delivers a first-rate product with exemplary service and design advice for the property owner. Gary's technology and business model is state of the art and geared towards today's busy, internet savvy home owner. I highly recommend Gary at Socal Property Portraits! We sold a 1.4 million dollar house in less than a week and the buyers said the photo's and video are what sold them online before they even walked into the home. Gary at SoCal Property Portraits is top notch. After trying and failing MANY times to photograph our studio nicely, it was time to bring in a real professional. I have worked weddings with Gary in the past and he has told me all about his love for real estate photography, and of course, the pictures speak for themselves. They are stunning! He was the perfect choice for the job. Booking with him was quick and easy, he was very flexible with my odd schedule, and that was much appreciated. He is such a genuinely nice person, but seeing him in his element like that was truly something amazing. He knew exactly what he was doing and the end result was flawless. It put all of our sad little attempts at nice studio shots to SHAME! The turn around time was really really fast, I was surprised he was able to produce imagery like that so quickly! Gary goes above and beyond and is great to work with! I have been doing design and marketing for a boutique real estate office for the past few years and working with property photographers was always a headache until we started working with Gary! He's a breath of fresh air to the business. Super professional and you can tell he really loves what he does! We had a few properties that had been sitting on the market with poor photography and zero interest, when Gary reshot them the pictures were absolutely stunning and we immediately saw more activity and interest, and some even sold just a few days after having new photos! Don't waste your time and money with the other carbon copy photography companies that send you some new random guy each time and charge an extra fee to get the "money shot", every shot Gary takes is a money shot!
