San Jose school of music is worth the time to explore and investigate opportunities for you or loved ones with regards to music education and musicianship. The teachers are great, knowledgeable and care about the growth and development of their students. I will continue to recommend the school to friends, family and people I meet for music lesson. Special thanks to Marisol, Carla and Bradford! More...

The teachers have continued to work with me to continue the musical journey given my abilities. This does make each session very enjoyable.

Love the teachers and the convenient times of their lessons. My children take voice and piano and are excited to show the teachers what they've practiced each week. They even hold recitals and my daughter had a very positive experience with her first one! She is looking forward to playing in another one! More...

My child has been taking violin lessons here for a year and enjoys her lessons. They offer classes in different instruments and all the teachers seem really professional. They also encourage the kids with the musical ladder system, which awards them with bracelets and trophies after they pass their tests. My child really looks forward to the tests. Everyone here is super friendly and eager to assist. Highly recommend this school! More...

Great for voice lessons! Brad the owner/maneger/piano teachers was very friendly and made the registration process go very swiftly and professionally. He paired me up with a very talented and experienced vocal teacher named Louise. I have only had 2 lessons so far, but I can tell this place is the real deal at a good price! More...

You can take lessons for a huge variety of instruments from; bass, guitar, piano/keyboard, voice, a variety of woodwind instruments and I believe they are looking to take on a drum instructor as well. It's never extremely crowded there so you don't usually hear too many other instruments during the lesson. All the teachers are very patient, polite, and knowledgeable. Plus,(this is the best part) I work there as the bass teacher. So give us a call and if you're looking for bass lessons check out some of my videos: www/youtube.com/bassbaby82 More...

Having taken several piano lessons earlier in life, I've accumulated different habits: some good, some really bad!  So I stroll into Bradford's office in this Willow Glen neighborhood one day asking if he could help me freshen up these magic fingers.  We fly through a couple lesson books and breeze through several pages of one until we find my special place.  It turns out that I could use more lessons to reach Mozart's level.  The school also offers guitar and voice lessons.  I think they also offer brass and wind instruction.  The piano teacher, Bradford, is extremely patient and way too talented to be a teacher (the man can play!).  He'll go over technique and theory, but does it in a fashion that even someone with ADD can cope.  I haven't met any of the other teachers, but none of the other students I've met have had any complaints.  Instruction can be done on a weekly basis for half an hour or for a full hour, and tuition is paid monthly.  From experience, I recommend taking the half hour sessions not only because it's cheaper, but to save frustration.  Besides, the most important factor in playing an instrument anyway is ultimately having the discipline to practice.
