Just a quick thank you to you and your staff for our Ladies Christmas Brunch on Saturday. It was a wonderful morning for our ladies. The food, the staff’s helpfulness and preparation for us was outstanding. We feel so comfortable getting there early to set up with everyone so willing to help and make our ladies feel so welcome. We went with SDCGC for our wedding venue and hosted both our ceremony  and reception here! The private events team were so helpful, responsive, and professional. . it made our experience easy and stress free! The day of our wedding (11/8/19) the ballroom was absolutely stunning! Everything was stunning and just the way we asked for it to be. My wife and I held our wedding at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course this last weekend, and we could not have asked for a better venue to celebrate our union. Lisa, Kellie, Cynthia and the rest of the staff worked tirelessly with us to coordinate the day, providing us with valuable suggestions to help the flow of the day and getting everything prepared so we wouldn’t have to worry so much.
Our wedding day had unexpected rain showers throughout the morning and afternoon, which worries us greatly. We were very assured by the professionalism and flexibility of the staff to move our decorations from outdoors to indoors then back to outdoors after the rain had lessened. They did everything they could to keep our wedding and our guests comfortable and dry, and the payoff was an unforgettable outdoor ceremony and reception.

I played here several times and always have a great time. Some holes are really tricky. To get a good score, just lay down some ambition and split the strokes; sometime regulation on green is just too hard. The course is not 100% well maintained but good enough for a good round. Out there in the canyon you can see some beautiful sceneries and gorgeous sunset if you play the twilight. Deers would take over the course in late afternoon early evenings. More...

Well maintained course. I've been playing addy this course for the last 5 years every Monday, but lately they've haff this starter cart guy Dale, which is the worst. Normally my tee time is the first in the morning around 5:37am. He starts at 5:30am, that's what he says. He brings one cart down in which the marshalls take, because they get to start before paying customers do. Then he goes in to the club house and starts jaw jacking with the person on the counter, instead of doing his job which is to bring out the carts so that we can tee off at are tee time More...

Planning a wedding from out of state is difficult but the process was stress free thanks to Lisa and Brianna . Lisa was beyond helpful, accommodating and patient when it came to planning everything. She is willing to show you the location through FaceTime on a Saturday !!! Most of our communication was through email Lisa and Brianna were awesome at getting back to us so soon.
My husband and I were beyond impressed the day of the reception. It was beyond our expectations and what we pictured. The staff that day was amazing nice and so accommodating. The made sure all of our guest were taken care of and that we didn’t have to worry about anything. I am beyond great full for everyone that helped make the day a memorable and stress free . Played here on a Sunday for a twilight round. Course was in nice condition. Had a fun time with our group. Be careful though - there is Poison Ivy and it got me. Most courses will warn but there wasn't any, not blaming them, but a heads up would have been nice.Thought it was weird that the pro shop had on random cable channel on  their t.v. (nothing to do with golf or sports) and not the PGA golf tournament that was being played that weekend. kind of strange.But overall it was a nice round, for the amt of $$ you pay- very reasonable. Brianna was great to work with. She was very responsive and thorough throughout the entire process. Her colleague, Lisa, was also very willing to help whenever Brianna was not available. The grounds are pretty and I loved the atmosphere it provided for my wedding. However, I was highly disappointed with the food quality on my wedding day. It did not taste or look like the offerings we had at our menu tasting. We walked around to several tables to say our "thank you" to guests and more than half hadn't touched their food. The roasted potatoes were dry and overcooked. We paid to upgrade from carrots to asparagus but that wasn't a good idea. The asparagus was also over cooked and a bit soggy (olive green instead of a nice bright green) and the marsala sauce was not thick enough. I hope that the chef will take this constructive criticism to ensure this doesn't happen to another wedding couple as food is sometimes the most memorable part of an event. We had my husbands 80th Birthday Party there and I couldn't have been more pleased. The venue is beautiful, the personnel was very accommodating & the food was delicious. The facility overlooks the golf course. & what a view!! A great big thanks to Brianna for being so patient with us.  We kept changing & adding items. She would say no problem.Thank you Juanita ( the Captain  in charge of the food)she was always present ready to assist in any way.  The people who served was very efficient.  They would come & go without knowing they were there.  Everything was prompt & on time.  As far as pricing.... s little pricey but well worth it.Parking was a little problem. But I told who could to carpool.  You can let passengers off at the door then park. No problem I would differently use this venue again.  It would be a great place for a Wedding & ReceptionThanks again every one for a successful birthday party More...

The San Dimas Canyon Golf Course is am amazing wedding venue! I think that from the day we initially toured the property, we knew we wanted to have our wedding here. We were dead-set on finding a venue that allowed us to have both the ceremony and reception outside as well as allow my wife to be creative. She loves crafting and we both saw enormous potential for her to go wild and make our wedding unique.

From the start, Lisa and Brianne were kind and focused on making sure our day would be amazing. They were always willing to help us with any questions or requests leading up to the day and provided us with some amazing vendor recommendations. They were both professional and supportive of our vision which we can't thank them enough for.

As for the venue itself, it was amazing. The wedding ceremony in the secluded gazebo area was beautiful and the reception outside under the giant oak tree was phenomenal. The food was excellent, service was great, and the entire staff was just welcoming. I don't think we could have found a better venue and the pricing definitely helped us keep us within our budget.
