I LOVE my custom-made cabinet! Scott measured and built this cabinet to precisely fit my not-at-all-square opening and it looks fabulous! He installed the under cabinet lights while he was building it so I now have both storage above the breakfast bar as well as lights over the bar. This cabinet gives me much-needed storage as well as making the bar so much more functional. Thank you Scott Gressitt!UPDATE - I also engaged Scott to restore my great-grandmother's solid oak, turn-of-the-century rocker. I'm so thrilled with the result! It's beautiful! He improvised walnut trim so I could forgo the braided trim the upholsterer recommended and I'm so pleased with how it turned out. Thanks again, Scott. You are a master! I couldn't be happier with my custom-made over the bar cabinet by Gressitt Woodworking/Scott Gressitt. Â It took extra effort to make this cabinet look square in my not-square opening. Â Excellent workmanship, on time, on budget, delivered and installed. Â Thank you - great addition to my condo.UPDATE - SO thrilled to have my great - grandmother's 100+ YO, turn-of-the-century rocker back in my home, reupholstered and lovingly refinished. Scott successfully reduced the length of the large conference room table for my office. He removed 4 feet from the center of the table and we were pleasantly surprised that you could not even tell that the table had been cut. Very professional workmanship!

In October 2015, we were looking to upgrade two bathrooms. Since our vanities were in good condition, we decided to have them refinished as opposed to replaced. My husband got Scott's name from Thumbtack.We hired Scott to refinish the vanities as well as to make new bedposts (shorter than our previous ones, so that we can watch TV in bed unobstructed). Â His prices were reasonable, but the best thing about the experience was his desire to give us what we wanted, even though there were times that I didn't know what I wanted! Â Scott suggested that he only refinish one vanity drawer and show it to me to see if I liked it. Initially, I though that this was unnecessary, but I'm glad that we went along with Scott. I ended up not liking the finish that I originally chose. Happily, Scott refinished everything in another finish and things look beautiful! The bedposts are beautiful as well.Scott is an artist and we would definitely use him again. More...

Highly recommended. Â I have known Owner Scott Gressitt for several years and over that time he has worked miracles on two pieces for me; one a very damaged antique that my Father had made and a second extremely sundamaged Henredon table. Â Each look better than the day I acquired. Â I have also seen numerous other pieces he has custom made or repaired for other clients come from his shop. Â His workmanship is excellent.
