So hubby and I decided to try out the new location and it’s great, nice and big, but that’s the only thing big. First off, started with dirty silverware, hubby has a thing about a clean fork. So, ordered and first off, portions are a lot smaller. Ordered the chicken fried chicken but it looked more like a flattened chicken finger :-( I love their cabbage but they now serve their sides in theses tiny bowls. I remember at the smaller location you got a nice serving, here not so much…literally. My hubby got the brisket plate and that came lukewarm. He was okay with it, me not so much. Hopefully they are trying out different things. Hopefully. Just not the same now. More...

Ate at the new place today- chicken fried steak was great and the banana pudding is to die for. Highly recommend everything on the menu- great place and such cute decorations

I don't know of ANY other BBQ place that has staff who care about the dietary restrictions of some customers... namely, ME! I have liver issues that mean I have to avoid salt and sugar. The fine folks at Sammy Lou's work WITH you. And everything is DELICIOUS! Will be back! More...

my husband and I just left and had 10th anniversary dinner there. It was amazing. meat so tender and fries were to die for. service was amazing also. Our waitress was very attentive and had menu recommendations. Five Stars in my book. More...
