Great place for bands coming through. Had to drop a star because every time I come here the beer is served in plastic. Maybe it goes hand in hand with events but it’s always hard to see all that plastic waste.

My husband sang in a show a few months ago, and I was his traveling sidekick. Salvage Station is an impressive concept. It's simply a fun hang out spot. There is a large outdoor space with plenty of open areas, picnic benches, bar and stool areas, high top tables, hammock area, games, and it backs up to the river. Kiddos and parents would have a good time grabbing a bite to eat during the day. This isn't a place I'd wear heels because there is a lot of gravel. The indoor area has plenty of space, but it could use more seating for those that have no interest in standing for hours. It would be nice to add some benches along the walls, or even some couches. That would make it a 5 star place. The bartender made a good drink, but his attitude was a huge turnoff. Nobody wants to deal with an arrogant vibe at such a chill place. The food truck people had great and helpful attitudes. The BBQ pork nachos were easily some of the best I've had. They were huge, and I could only eat half of them. I agree with some of the other reviews, that the security is a little overboard for this venue, but they didn't cause any problems when I was there. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try, and if it's your first time you might appreciate waiting for good weather to get the full impact. More...

My husband and I had our wedding reception here and it was perfect!!!! Salvage has the perfect vibe for our music festival style reception. The food for the buffet was yummy, the staff were super helpful, the bartenders were friendly and did a great job, and the staff helped us so much because of the rain. We provided our own tent (classic event rental/highly recommend) but the ground started getting soaked the night before. One of the owners personally laid down tons of gravel so that it wasn't a mud fest and it made the biggest difference. Even with the rain our guests loved the experience and they stayed to party inside the main space for a late night show! Salvage set up a fire pit for us and gated off the area so our guests had a private experience. Marci, their event planner, worked really well with our wedding coordinator throughout the process. We are so thankful for how helpful everyone was!! -what we provided/brought and set up: 60x60 pole tent, dance floor, decorations, and lights through Classic Event Rental, brought our own wedding planner and friends to set up all decorations, florist, all dessert stands/trays and serving utensils with the exception of the buffet, band/friends Shiloh Hill and they brought their own sound and mic system -what Salvage provided: black chairs, white banquet tables, space for the tent to be put up, custom fire pit for our space, three set up helpers that we paid extra for (and were super helpful!), bartenders, private bar, buffet food and trays, utensils, plates, napkins, More...

My wife and I love Salvage Station. While it's a physically large venue, it's actually catered to a small venue feel. Their growing popularity is well deserved and I hope they're able to grow with it. My wife and I had our wedding reception at Salvage Station this past weekend (10/26/2019) and while they're not set up for it, we're really pleased with how it turned out. We worked with Salvage Station, Classic Event Rentals, and a professional wedding planner to make it happen. We love the location but with concerts bring their priority and with weather always being a factor (it did end up raining) you have to be accommodating and understanding. After they told us they'd have a show the same night, we didn't want to take any chances and booked a tent with Classic Event Rentals so our timeline and guests wouldn't be affected by the show and potential rain. We were determined to make it work and it all came together with a tent and some gravel and our guests rolling with the muddy punches. We had a blast and appreciate Patrick & Marci's assistance. We didn't want a traditional reception and got it :)It was the reception of our dreams and we were eager to go back and hang out again after the reception.
