After being recommended to Salt of the Earth we have found our new favorite caterers in Colorado Springs! We did a tasting in advanced and knew that all of our wedding guests would love the food. They were on time to the venue and had the food ready to go as our guests were ready to eat. No one went hungry and most went back for seconds! What an incredible job!!  We contracted Patrick and his team to cater the 95th Birthday celebration for my Mom @ Liberty Heights. I arranged everything long distance (from Ft Lauderdale) and SOTE could not have been easier to work with.   We had 65 (very finicky) guests, 40 from out of town, and every single one was completely happy and very impressed with both the service and the quality of food provided.   Thanks to a great team for helping provide a life-long memory! Salt Of The Earth Catering did a fantastic job catering our daughter’s wedding! The food was incredibly delicious, and tasted like my grandmother had been in the kitchen all day! We wanted home-cooked, comfort food, and that was exactly what we got! We had roast beef & gravy, turkey & gravy, mashed potatoes, smoked Gouda macaroni & cheese, green beans, rolls and salad bar. It was all absolutely delicious, and tasted fresh and homemade. The caterers cleared the tables, as well is cut up the wedding cake and pie we had. Salt of the Earth catered our wedding and were amazing! They made sure to give us what we hoped within our budget. The food was delicious and we received a lot of compliments from guests on it. Our menu was Gouda mac and cheese, bacon coleslaw, salad, and bbq. Everything was great and the price was incredibly reasonable. The tastings were fun and yummy! Salt of the Earth (and Sherry and Patrick) were great for our wedding! We had the bacon wrapped smokies, feta canapes, and the pasta for our wedding and all we heard about were how great the bacon wrapped smokies were (although we didn't get any). The pasta was delicious and fairly priced, the service was amazing, and we even had to-go boxes at the end of the night which was great because I was starving after we left! The team here did a fabulous job with my daughters wedding at Younger Ranch. Salt of Earth Catering was one of the vendors on the list but glad we picked them to work with. My wedding was out of season and way out of town. These guys not only came all the way up to Silverthorne, but they did a tasting with my fiancé and had our whole afternoon wedding ready to go in about three weeks. The food was incredible! They are a little hard to get ahold of, but they are prompt, courteous, and so welcoming to everyone as they served, I wouldn't let lack of an instant response deter you. Their value is unbelievable, and I scouted half of Denver first because I figured it was closer. If I could rate this vendor a 10/5 stars, I would. They exceeded every expectation by a long shot. They honestly were so amazing, it's hard to put into words. We had them cater tacos at my wedding and that was THE most talked about thing at my wedding: everyone still brings it up (3 months later) how amazing the tacos were. Not only did they make amazing food but they made more than enough to make sure we didn't run out, their prices are beyond reasonable, they were willing to work with my venue's rules and guidelines without hesitation and made sure the lines moved smoothly to meet time restrictions. My brother had his wedding reception here, yes they also host as well as cater. They had plenty of room and the staff was excellent. Their food was as delicious as it comes, I was really surprised. (No offense to you, Salt of the Earth ) everyone had more than their fair share of food, which goes to show how well they made the food. There is plenty of parking early on in the evening (Saturday) but as the night goes on, it gets taken up by (I'm assuming) the patrons of Rawkus, which is a music venue next door to SotE. From the first email inquiry in January to the last crumbs being taken swept away, Sherry and Patrick were terrific to work with to host our post-graduation lunch for about 25. Responsive, flexible, accommodating and reassuring; fantastic food with rave reviews from our guests. Planning both the rented house and the lunch long-distance could've been a challenge, but wasn't as Sherry and Patrick were totally responsive, reliable and so helpful. We had a wedding with 53 guests. Appetizers and dinner buffet were fantastic! All our guests gave us positive feedback, especially about the Smoked (on location! ) Tri Tip Beef. There was more than enough food for all. The service was wonderful. The appetizers, salad, and sides were perfect and exactly what we expected.
