Took an Open Salsa class last night! The focus on getting the basics is great! They emphasize staying in pace, and frame, which even after taking salsa lessons many years ago, was never really something that was embedded into me.  The class is executed in a really fun manner, rotating your partner after every song, so you get used to being able to dance with anyone, or as our instructor called it, being able to dance "in the field". Andrés (?) has a LOT of energy! He lead the class with a charismatic vibe, so it was really easy to follow him. Would definitely come back for more group lessons and maybe even private ones as well! Salsa Kings is easily one of the funnest and most welcoming environments in Miami to learn salsa and bachata. I am having a wonderful time learning from supportive and warm instructors and classmates.
