I've been a lifelong Babylon resident and I have never eaten at Sal's before. A friend of ours had an event and everyone was raving about how delicious the food was. When we asked where they ordered from, they said the pizzeria by the train station. We just ordered 2 different chicken dishes tonight, and the food was absolutely delicious!!!! Every time I order Sal's, everyone always asks me where I got the pizza. It's great, every single time. Besides the fantastic food, this is a business that really cares about the community. We ordered multiple trays of food for my wife's mother's 60th surprise party and everyone was asking us where we got the food. The food was absolutely amazing and we will be using Sal's to cater all of our parties from now on. We also ordered the cookie platter and brownie platter that were equally as good. Sal's makes great NY style pizza. The crust is thin and crunchy and the cheese and sauce are delicious. I'm a huge fan of garlic knots and they make good ones here. Try the garlic knot slice with knots along the crust handle. It's tasty and filling. It's a basic local pizza place with some tables, booths, and a tv. No table service; order at the counter and they let you know when it's ready. They also make heroes. It's a friendly, family run place that I'm happy to support. More...

Pizza is fantastic, thin crispy NYC-esque. Good sauce, perfect ratios, nice chew.. Wife and I decided to do a "pizza tour" today. 1 plain slice at a few places in the area. Sal's was our first stop. Loved it! After trying three other places and realizing they didn't even come close in quality, we went BACK to Sal's for another slice. (Yes, i just ate 5 slices of pizza). At first, they looked a little confused and asked if I was in earlier. I told them what we had been up to and that we had to come back for another slice after being let down at the other locations. They were very appreciative and gave my wife and I two slices on the house! Class act. I probably would have continued to come back for the pizza alone, but a gesture like that will keep me a customer for life. Thanks! More...

Always get pizza from this place, always good. Buffalo slices are top notch (but a little pricey). Deep dish & garlic knot slices are also great. Location is perfect like a lot of people have said because it's right next to the train station, so if you're in a hurry it's a good place to quickly stop. The pizza here wasn't bad (the regular was ok, but the buffalo chicken was very good), but what impressed me most was the customer service. My girlfriend left her pocketbook and they called her within a few minutes of us leaving to let us know. Apparently the gentleman behind the counter checked her ID, then looked her up in the white pages to get her mother's home number. That was more effort than I think a lot of people would have put in to make sure the bag was returned. To follow that, I went to give them cash as a thank you and they directed me to another customer who turned the bag in. Good people making good pizza. More...

Mostly it's just your standard casual pizza place, but it gets an extra star for having awesome garlic knot-crust slices (lots of photos of them on Yelp) and also being super convenient to the train station. When I've got some time before a train, all I really want is a slice of pizza with garlic knots baked into it for $3.50. And that's what Sal's delivers. Can't say I'd come out of my way to come here, but then again, I'm a really big fan of this whole garlic knot crust thing. It seems like some of the negative reviews might have either been expecting too much of a pizza joint or come in on a bad day because I had a positive experience here. More...

This spot is near the train station so I usually swing by after work. So far I've had several entrees and each one was delicious. Try the spinach Alfredo pizza and the white pizza, they were superb! House salad has a delicious house dressing, family secret. Great and friendly service, clean, warm and rustic decor.
