Melissa killed it. I've had my fair share of bad haircuts so when I do decide it's time, they're usually 2 years minimum between them. I reached out to the salon on a whim (a week before Christmas) and asked if Melissa had availability and she did! I've been coming to this salon for almost a year now and let me tell you, Melissa does not disappoint! I've had a hard time trusting people with my hair and she made me feel so comfortable right away! She listened to what I wanted and listened to my concerns since the previous hairstylist I had made me not want to trust anyone with my hair. I had my auburn balayage from Melissa and she was the best. I had to come back for correction as I wanted more red pieces in my crown and she was more than happy to oblige. I went in for a foilyage appointment today which was done by Sebastian. He was very knowledgeable with the entire process while making sure I was comfortable during the 3 1/2 hours I spent at the salon. I came in on October 10, 2019 for a blowout and could not have been happier, all thanks to Nicole. She has been the best stylist I have found so far! She knew exactly how to work with my hair texture. I did not have to go home and do any touch ups, which is extremely rare!On top of having such an excellent stylist, this place is wonderful. I found this salon through Yelp and chose it because of the good reviews. I booked an appointment through Yelp, I got a fast response, and it was super easy to book. The salon has great customer service and is really cute. I asked for a trim to maintain my length and that's exactly what I got. I love my hair! Melissa is the best! First off I have mixed hair (Cuban, German, African American) so it's always so tough to find a person who can actually manage it. Oh my goodness I had such an amazing hair experience!I've been wanting to try a new hairstyle but I have been putting it off until now. I thought I would try a new hair salon to go with my new hair experience, so I found Salon Drew on yelp & off I went!First I got a hair consultation with Melissa over a week ago to see what new hairstyle would look best for me. She suggested a balayage would look great, so I made an appointment for today with her.When I got to the salon today, I had a relaxing experience from start to finish. The ladies greeted me at the door & offered me something to drink. After that I immediately met with Melissa & got started with my balayage. She explained the process the whole way though & was so soothing I almost fell asleep! Sebastian is amazing! I stalked the best stylist on insta and found him , then contacted the salon. He does exactly what I ask for and when I say I want an inch off he cuts an actual inch off! !!! Every other place I have gone too will cut off more than an inch. He is amazing he also restored my hair from a previous color that I didn't like. Ok so here I am with my other stylist gone and I need my hair done.  Since I am a man I did not want to go to a beauty salon where all they do is style for women.  Don't want to walk out looking like George Jetson.  After reading all the good reviews I decided to give Salon Drew a try and OH BOY I am sure glad I did.  I made a reservation the day before and was greeted by a friendly voice.  After she asked questions I was able to make an appointed for the following day with Bayli.  What impressed me was that I received a text to confirm my appointment.  That was very impressive.  When I arrived the following morning I was greeted with a friendly smile and she said that Bayli was finishing up and if I needed anything let her know.  Man do I love when you don't have to wait forever.  Right on time Bayli came up and introduce herself.  She asked all the right questions on what I needed and told her I want to look like Brad Pitt...  Well kinda..Great conversation and an hour later and I was transformed into Brad Pitt - well sorta!   Love this place and will be back again!  Thanks for the great staff and a shout out to BAYLI!! I got my hair gray highlights at a different salon. I liked it at first but then a week later my hair started turning orange and the color got very messed up and I wanted to go back to blonde highlights. Melissa REALLY helped me and gave me the best result I have ever gotten. Before the gray I would always get blonde highlights but every time, I always feel like it could've gotten more blonder. When I told Melissa about my situation, she worked on my hair for hours and the end result was the best I have ever seen on my hair. I have been coming to Salon Drew off and on over the years only because I have moved twice to different states. I live in Arizona and I tried to give at least 3 other salons a chance to do my hair like I got it done at Salon Drew and NO LUCK. .. My hair was either fried or I came out with red or orange hair that I did not ask for. Soooo I made a decision to make the trip back to my original home (Cali) and go back to Salon Drew and I can also visit my family as well. I have been going back to Cali every few weeks to get my hair done by Melissa and I couldn't be more happier with the results each time. I absolutely adore Melissa and trust her with my hair. She is always so sweet and kind and such a pleasure to chat with. I appreciate the amount of time and work she puts in when it comes to doing my hair. Mind you, I have a lot of hair that requires a lot of time and Melissa spends most of her day with me in her chair. This time we did a Sunkist Balayage and I absolutely love love love it!! So worth the trip to get my hair done and maintain it with visits every few weeks. Melissa is THE BEST! I cannot stop looking at my hair and touching it, I'm obsessed to say the least. This was my second session with her and each time I've come out, I've loved the outcome. Sure you can go somewhere and pay to go from dark hair to super blonde hair but we know that also comes with super damaged hair needing to get chopped off. Melissa is mah guurrrrlll!! Found this place via Yelp and the reviews gravitated me here. Melissa was so easy to talk to and for some reason, I didn't feel bad about telling her that 1) I don't often do my hair, 2) I'm a very simplistic person, 3) I never really put much thought into what my hair looked like. She immediately knew how to help me. What an angel!Making an appointment for here is always so easy and their follow-up calls and texts are super helpful. Price is decent when considering it's a quality-place and not just some rundown shack with random people with scissors. They know their stuff. I was looking for a new salon after leaving my old one. I'm so happy I found Salon Drew! As I was looking for a new stylist, I looked through the salon's IG page and saw Melissa's work and instantly fell in love. I decided to book my appointment with her and I'm so happy I did! Melissa did an amazing job on my Balayage (my fam and friends loved it). I love how she took the time to do multiple things on my hair that my old salon never did. I had never heard of adding gloss to the hair, but I'm glad she did it. She was so kind and just overall a great stylist. One great thing I loved was that she didn't make me wait at all. My old salon would still have me sitting in the salon chair 30-45 minutes after the dryer had stopped! Not at Salon Drew! I'm also glad that she is able to work on me so I can grow my hair out. I loved Melissa's work (also great product recommendations), that I booked another appointment for July to fully cut my ends and tone it out. Thank you so much again Melissa!The salon itself is very clean and organized. I really like how they keep a file of your name and the products and colors they have used for you in the past. The stylists themselves continue to educate themselves on the new techniques and trends, something that really is a plus when I'm looking for a stylist (my old salon could never!). Had an appointment about 2 weeks ago. Had my hair cut for the first time in about 7 months and got a Brazilian Blowout. The blowout made my frizzy 2C curls looser and way more manageable. Bailey was very nice and conservative with the trim if you're worried about losing length. I told her to cut however much she felt would be healthiest and she checked in multiple times to be sure it was fine. Its just hair to me but I know this is a concern for some people. The salon also Carrie's R+Co products which I forgot how much I liked because they can be hard to find in stores. I plan on going back soon. More...

Very late getting to this! But almost a month ago I went in with Bailey and went from long hair to short. I'm almost halfway through my pregnancy and needed to get back to feeling good about myself. She treated me like a queen. Washed my hair and gave me a nice quick little neck massage. She actually cut my hair pretty fast and then styled it just the way I like it. I am a week and a half away from my Graduate School graduation and my hair girl was not available. I had to try someone and found this salon and yelp with great reviews. I went in for a consult and made the appointment to get my hair done. I was terrified of trying someone new. Hair stylists are so personal to a female. I was looking for a good hair salon as I don't get my hair done often. I started yelp-surfing and came across Salon Drew. I decided to give them a try and I'm very happy that I did ! Made an appointment for a cut and color consultation with Melissa. She was ready for me when I arrived and super friendly. Melissa answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable.
