I got the most fabulous curly cut/color from Jamie a couple of weeks ago. She was kind, knowledgeable and immediately put me at ease. As my fellow curly girls know it's not easy to find someone who really knows how to cut curly hair and Jamie listened to what I wanted and surpassed all expectations. My curls are happy and bouncy! From start to finish, my experience with Salon Aqua was awesome. I had a last-minute kind of appointment and a somewhat unusual, very specific request for an elopement hair/makeup style, but when I spoke with Angela on the phone, she was so friendly and ready to get me set up with what I needed. My stylist/artist was Jamie, and she was absolutely incredible. Not only was she fun and awesome to talk to, but she is SO talented and was able to put together the look I wanted and more. She asked me questions as we went to make sure it was what I wanted and actually removed the makeup in a few spots when she wanted to fix it - her care and precision and patience were remarkable. Like most of us, I don't often feel like I'm pretty, but I swear I looked amazing when she was done. She even asked to see photos after so she could see the final hair and makeup product with the dress. And they lasted the rest of the day - the lipstick didn't even smudge when we had wings after! The whole experience was all so personal and low-key and fun, and I love looking at photos and actually loving what I looked like after Jamie got done working her magic! My wedding was in Savannah and we rented the salon for all of my girls to get ready in. The service was absolutely amazing. They made sure we always had everything we needed. Our hair and make up came our beautifully as well. We could show pictures of what we wanted and our hair came our exactly how we pictured. Also, the girls are so nice and welcoming. This place is so great for haircuts! I had to get mine cut and I hadn't gone to a different hairdresser for over 10 years so when I went here I was nervous. But when I came in they were so nice! This salon is absolutely amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly, talkative, and helpful. My sisters and I were in town for a long weekend and we spontaneously decided to get our hair done. We called and the staff fit all three of us in last minute and did two cuts, two balayage, and one (rose gold!) color. Joan SLAYYYYEEEDDDD my hair. She turned my trash dirty dish water colored hair and turned it into a blue smurf dream and I couldn’t be any happier. The staff is super nice and understanding of any conflicts like I I had in booking and ugh I love the energy of all the girls. Everyone’s so nice. Emily is the ultimate southern stylest. She has a classic sweet southern charm and an amazing talent for bringing a picture to life. I made a major transition with my hair and Emily knocked it out of the park. Having just moved to Savannah and after months of letting my old dye just fade and fade.. I needed a trim and color ASAP ! I called 4 other places before finding this one. It’s reasonably priced - in a good area downtown with lots of parking meters around it- everyone is so friendly and sweet !! I am absolutely pleased with my entire experience here ! Jamie my stylist - knew exactly what to do and gave me back this beautiful chocolatly brown that looks so natural !! She was very knowledgeable and gave me her expert opinion on what we should do. ( without being pushy - which is so important ! ) She put my nerves to ease immediately- she’s on the quiet side which is perfect if your wanting to relax with out having your ears talked off !
