Fabulous atmosphere and women that work here . Kitti the owner of 356 has tastefully made the salon a home away from home. I've been getting my hair cut and colored  here for years and she does an amazing job! I've been to several salons and nothing has compared. I LOVE this place. I came on a recommendation from a friend, which was spot on. On my stylist, Bri Westly - highly recommended. She's been working on me for years now. I'm not very good with hair, or styling, or keeping up with the trends (awful actually). Bri knows my personality and my style, and she always takes GREAT care of me. She always makes you feel like a priority, and she works quick. Between my cut and color, I'm done in an hour and a half at the most. I love coming in before an event or a trip somewhere because I always walk out with great, healthy hair. Plus she's really easy to talk to and one of the nicest people around. Bonus - if you've had a long day, you can have a glass of wine while you're here to help relax!On the salon itself - it's right off the freeway, so it's really easy if you're coming from north or south. It's really nice inside and always clean. A good amount of room inside, and all the staff and owners have always been welcoming. Need hair help? Two words: JAYA LOO. I'm extremely nit picky with my hair because I like when it's low maintenance and if I get an odd cut, then it takes me much longer to style it. I've always had off haircuts which led to me hating salons and letting my hair grow for years by default in order to avoid going to them. The first time I went to Jaya she took time to get to know my hair, it's texture and the way I like to style it in order to ensure the best cut. Leaving the salon that day was the first time I have EVER left not in tears or having to go home to fix the styling of it before I went out because she even blew it out to my preference. Years have passed since my first visit and I'm happy to say I'm much more consistent with getting my hair done because she makes it such an enjoyable experience and she listens, checks in throughout the process and is always so joyful! She never stops until you are EXCITED, not just satisfied. She has colored my hair darker, lighter, balayage, ombré, given me deep side bangs, taken my hair from rapunzel to an angled lob and evened it out when I decided to grow it back out again. Also, she drove 4 hours just to be my hairstylist for my wedding because I didn't trust anyone else - she created the most gorgeous updo that fit under my Juliet veil and stayed to take my hair down, touch it up and add a headpiece for my reception. She isn't just about your hair looking good either, she's invested in it's health as well and is always looking out for your best interest. I am thankful that when I googled salons on a last minute occasion before I flew out, that this salon came up and what was even more of a blessing was Jaya was the one who took care of me! Not only was she willing to come in on a last minute appointment for an 8:00 am , but she was amazing in styling my hair, along with making me feel comfortable and at home! I consider my hair cut more of  a spa treatment to say the least.  She is super sweet and super knowledgeable on how my hair is and worked it and styled it beyond my explanation of what I needed done.  It is important to have a relationship with your stylist because no one likes that uncomfortable session of sitting in silence lol, but not only that its important regarding her matching a style to your personality.  if this doesn't show how much I am stoked on my cut, try it yourself and see the difference after going here.  Thank you Jaya Loo! My first visit to this salon was last Wednesday where I had an appointment with Jaya. She did such a great job with my hair. She's very professional with what she does, she takes her job to heart, and is a very friendly person. My appointment took around an hour and a half but it didn't feel that long. Because she is such a friendly person, conversation with her was easy, and since we talked so much the time seemed to go by quicker. Near the end when she styled my hair (I got a simple cut and style and I have a lot of hair) she styled it just how I like. I've never been to a salon where they styled my hair the way I like it. Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit and will be coming back for more services. :) Not to mention the hours they are open definitely work with my busy work schedule so that's another plus! Make an appointment with Jaya now!! I am not exaggerating, you will not regret it! I have used yelp to try to find a decent hairstylist for years and have been so frustrated every single time. No matter how great the reviews have been for various salons around Orange County, I have left these salons disappointed every single time. I was about to give up hope after yet another hair disaster when I decided to give yelp one more chance and found JAYA! She is so sweet, warm, positive, and talented beyond anything I have ever experienced. Jaya Loo is the absolute best! I went to Salon 356 just last week because my hair had been very damaged by my previous stylist and the colors I was doing on my hair. Jaya put a hair mask in my hair and trimmed and styled my hair, and let me tell you my hair has never felt better! It looks healthy and feels great! Bri Westly was the hair stylist for my wedding and she just exceeded my expectations! Not only is she super fun and spunky, she is extremely talented! I follow her on Instagram and I love seeing her expand her knowledge and skills through workshops and "continuing education" of sorts in the hair and makeup industry. She is constantly learning, growing, and expanding and is fantastic at what she does! I had a Fresno wedding and she made the trip to doll up myself and my girls! One of my bridesmaids brought her hair extensions and Bri had no problem styling and putting them in for her the day of. She made the morning of the wedding fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. My biggest concern with my hair was that it would stay in tact all night. She did a wonderful job encouraging me to go a little bigger and bolder for the big day and it was perfect AND it stayed! I'm a mans man that cares way to much about his hair.I went to Salon 356 to get my final hair cut for my wedding; I had been growing my hair out for several months to get it long enough to take it somewhere to get it shaped/cut for the big day. As a guy I have been taking myself to cheapo $10 hair cut places and always coming out shaking my head.  I met Kristin in all places but her own home where I was doing work and I smartly asked what she did for a living; immediately I tore off my hat to show her the mop of hair I had been growing out for so long and explained to her I was looking to get a fresh cut before the wedding. She told me about her salon and a little background of her business. Kristen gave me the cut of my life, I sat down in chair, explained to her my wants, and what I didn't want, she listened, gave me her opinion based on my requests and for once in my life I felt someone who was about to cut my hair knew exactly what I had in mind. Kristin exceeded my expectations, I received an amazing hair cut, it goes up nice and tucks away for work, but on weekends/my wedding day its beautiful, clean cut, and I am just a couple teeth away from being an extremely good looking guy. I hadn't done anything with my hair in a few years and all the stylists recommended to me by friends and family were too far away from my home and work so I decided to put my trust in Yelp (as I often do) and I chose Salon 356 - hoping that I could find a stylist here to become my new go to person.  I made a call and spoke to Jaya on the phone.  I told her I hadn't been to a stylist in years and that I really just wanted a consultation for a cut/trim and perhaps some color.  She booked me in really quickly at a time that was convenient for my schedule.  When I arrived at Salon 356 I was greeted by Jaime and offered a beverage.  She told me that Jaya would be right with me, and she was.  I sat in her chair and let her know about my hair specific concerns and that I had no preconceptions about what I wanted done.  She engaged me in some conversation that made me feel really at ease at comfortable, not just with her services as a professional, but with her as an individual.  I felt as if our conversation during my time in the salon was honest and meant to help us get to know each other as people who were establishing a relationship.  It was a very comfortable experience.She made some recommendations for highlights that would brighten my current look and she worked very quickly getting to the job at hand immediately.  She was able to complete the process while I sat in her chair and I never had to move to another location.  When the highlight process was done she washed and conditioned my hair and then cut it so that it felt perfect.  I have really fine, thin hair and I told her I wanted a style that I could just let air dry and then run my fingers through, yet still have it look great.  She dried it for me so I could see how it would look, but didn't do anything else (so I know this is how it'll look when I do it at home).  It really looked bright and shiny.  The length was perfect.  It looked healthy, but not as if I'd had it cut ... all my length still seemed to be there.She provided me with information about how often I might need to come back in to keep my highlights looking bright and shiny and my ends looking nice and trim.  There was no pressure to buy anything and best of all, this entire process took only an hour and forty minutes!  I'm all about getting things done well in as little time as possible.  I think I can actually say that I've found a stylist and that I won't be neglecting my hair anymore. I've been coming to Salon 356 for a little over a year now, I don't cut/color my hair often so I need my styles to grow out gracefully and Patti gives me EXACTLY that!  My most recent cut (2 months ago) is STILL receiving compliments as if it were just cut.  That visit took my length from mid-back to just above my shoulders, a big change for me, but Patti gave me a style that would be easy to work with once I got home.  She even gave me a great recommendation for a blow dryer.  My second Target buy in less than a year had just burned out.  The blow dryer is wonderful and I didn't feel pressured into the sale, it truly sold itself.  The ladies at Salon 356 are warm, welcoming and professional; the salon is always full of laughter when I go in.  Its not the closest salon to my house but its well worth the drive. This salon is by far the classiest place I have been for salon services. The owners have impeccable taste both in decor and with choosing boutique items that they sell, at very modest or downright inexpensive prices.  I would seriously go there JUST TO SHOP because you won't find cuter items to buy for such a bargain BUT the hairstylists are amazing as well!  I have been seeing Morgan, who is an artist, very talented and is very up to date with her styles. I feel like I can just say "I want to do something fun" and give her no other direction, and not worry because she will invariably come up with something that looks stunning.  She is very skillful at anything I have had done, Keratin Complex Treatment, Highlights, Color, Adorable Cuts, etc.  I am thrilled to have found the perfect cozy salon and the perfect hairdresser! My step daughter was getting married and I needed to find a hairdresser who was willing to come to my house. I was referred to Jaime at Salon 356 and not only found the hairdresser willing to travel, I changed hairdressers altogether. I've been going to Jaime for over a year now and love how she cuts and styles my hair every time. I have very thick course hair but it doesn't seem to phase Jaime. She can do wonders!Jaime takes her time and is very patient with me - hey, you try working with my hair. It's not easy. Salon 356 is fantastic!  The owners and stylists have really created a wonderful environment which is both welcoming and relaxing.  So many larger salons are noisy and hectic and at Salon 356 you get personalized attention in a very comfortable and client-focused location.  They transformed the space when they opened with all new equipment and it shows.The location is ideal in Laguna Niguel just off the 5-Freeway and Crown Valley Parkway down Forbes Road.  I highly recommend the salon to anyone looking for a change or anyone looking for fine, quality services from very experienced professionals!!  Check them out...you will like what you see and you will look good too.
