They must pay people for these good reviews. For a place that claims they care about animals is a complete lie. Don’t take your animals here. April the office manager is unprofessional. I didn’t like they way I was being treated and she held the door so I couldn’t leave. She is 3 times my size and was screaming at me so I was concerned for my dog and my safety. They were unable to diagnosis my dog and I didn’t trust them after how we were treated. I like to support local small businesses but stay far away from this one. I’m still in shock by my experience. I can’t say enough about how great you all have been in the care of my precious Sally. Sally has seen several vets and vet techs at Oak Ridge Veterinary Hospital over the years - Dr. Maria, Dr. Kris, and Dr. Rick have all been wonderful with her care, and have been so diligent and compassionate in her failing health, especially over the past year when her age just caught up to her and her suffering got to be too much. I sincerely appreciate Dr. Kris helping Sally go peacefully to Heaven- she was so gentle and patient, and she was everything I could have ever wanted. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Salazar Veterinary Hospital. I have lived in Conway for 50 years and am VERY familiar with all of the practices in the area. Believe me when I tell you that we have been blessed to have David Salazar and his staff open their practice here. He and April (his wife and office manager) are nothing short of amazing. Just stepping foot through the door will put a smile on your face and calm any fear you may have as it relates to your beloved pet. They are so professional and caring and the level of care and knowledge that they give to each and every human and animal that they meet is second to none! The front desk staff is really disrespectful very unprofessional. Have went there in the past with my beagles will not ever go back to this place again. They need to work on there customer service skills and how to talk to people. The front desk women are going to run this place into the ground with those attitudes. It would be a great vet if they would know how to talk to people. Do not recommend this place. I take my dogs to the Clinton veterinarian hospital beside the green bridge now. That place is 1000 times better then Oak Ridge veterinarian hospital they know how to treat someone and they are great with your animals! More...

Salazar Veterinary is a very nice atmosphere, the minute I walked in the door they were right there to greet my sick doggy Benji who means the world to me and my wife he was treated as if Benji was there own and that put me at a comfort level to know they genuinely care about there animals and I'm proud to say Benji is doing well now and I'm forever greatful for the care they gave our baby boy.

I’ll admit I’m not much of a review leaver, but felt very compelled to leave one after my first visit today to this lovely new clinic. I requested an appointment online, and was promptly contacted same day and seen same day. Very flexible/responsive even with the epidemic. Dr.Salazar and April took great care of our kitty. Kept her calm and relaxed and gave her a thorough exam. Very professional and caring demeanor. We were able to get the medicine she needed for a fair price. Very very happy with my experience. Everyone is so nice!!! Great customer service skills, hard to find these days. They really care about our furry, scaly pets. Hard to find a veterinarian that specializes in reptiles. So glad I met Dr Rick. He is amazing knows his stuff and helped me to understand a lot about my baby Scarlet. Dr Rick did surgery on her and called me at work to let me know how great she was doing. She was groggy after surgery So he put her in an incubator and he’s giving her fluids. I’m so impressed with his knowledge and I won’t take Scarlet anywhere else from now on.
