Hello,

My name is Barbara Sakota and I believe in individualized health care. I selected the path of Alternative Therapies after hitting a brick wall treating my son with conventional medicine. Due to his extreme allergies, the medical world recommended he should take steroids for the rest of his life. On my quest for more I discovered Nutrition, Homeopathy, and Reflexology.

After completing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from San Diego State University. I've held various positions ranging from Marketing Manger to Human Resource Manager. During this time, I trained under Dr. Andrew Cooks of Johannesburg and received a Nutritional Degree from Institute of Human Individuality (IFHI). Then I earned a Master's Degree from The British Institute of Homeopathy. I opened my private practice in Solana Beach, California!

After 30 years of experience as an alternative practitioner, what sets me apart from other Dietitian's is that I work with clients on an individualistic basis by using their blood type and genetic history to develop their specific health care program.
