What is this amazing place?!? First time customer. Our server, Maggie was excellent. On top of her game. Any questions we had were answered. And I love good service. The food felt authentic, was beautifully plated and tasted fresh and amazing. We were surprised because the prices run on the lower end and we expected what we paid for. Not above and beyond. We went in at lunchtime on a Groupon and were very pleasantly surprised. First, the service from Andres was prompt and friendly. He recommended the steak fajitas and he was so right! Delicious, tender meat, grilled vegies, rice, beans and salad on the side. The tortillas are in-house handmade and worth the trip. I wonder if I'll get to try the rest of the menu as long as these fajitas are on there?The pre-meal chips and salsa were the best I've had in the Portland area over a time period of 25 years living here. I love this place! I've been getting food togo from them for years. Last night I decided to have a friend meet me at the restaurant for happy hour. There happy hour is just on there drinks, but don't you worry because there are many inexpensive food items on there menu. When you visit definitely get there house margarita, the best I've ever had! I've tried many things on there menu, but last night I got the chicken tortilla soup and a chorizo street taco. So good! Although I visit Portland twice a year, I had never been to Lake Oswego.  When researching restaurants online, I saw the listing and good reviews for Sabrozon.  I like to support local businesses and decided to give it a try.From the moment I walked in, I felt as though I was among friends.  Jair, my server, was very welcoming and efficient.  I ordered the two-item dinner plate with a pollo asado enchilada and a pastor enchilada.  Both were absolutely fantastic!  Paired with a choice of beans along with rice and a salad, it was a perfect dinner.  The serving size was just right.  I certainly did not leave hungry!What impressed me about the food was the fresh flavors.  Things were prepared to focus on the flavor of each item.  The two enchiladas were a good combination for a variety of tastes.The service was very attentive and efficient but not rushed.  I regret now not staying for a dessert.  The next time I stay in the Lake Oswego area, I will definitely plan another dinner at Sabrozon!  ¡Es el mejor! I was craving fish Taco's and super happy you can buy them here w/out having to purchase an entire meal.  this allowed me to have Ceviche on a tostada, which was . .  DA-NOM-NOM!  I was mildly disappointed the fish was deep fried, so I couldn't tell if prev frozen, but honestly the batter was light and they weren't greasey, so I was pretty content (read above nummy Ceviche..).  My family was happy with their meal as well, although  my son ordered some strange meal that had pressed deep fried chicken, and fries with black beans, and he wasn't thrilled with that as he said it had not flavor but..  That's on him, as the menu was clear and who , over 5 orders a meal that comes with fries at a Mexican restaurant anyway?My daughter ordered Chicken quesadilla which she said had a little too much chicken in it (again, crazy..) but managed to sock 1/2 of it away, so there are larger problems one could have right?I'd definitely be back!!! I'm a Texan who loves Mexican food. In the PNW they usually overly prepare and "cool" down dishes for the local palate.  Sabrozon is amazing! ! A simple strip mall location hides a gem. Exceptional service from the moment you arrive. Fresh, free and crisp tostadas are accompanied with two homemade salsas. Both are very good and fresh. The red has the flavor, heat and consistency of the best homemade salsas. The green jalapeño green sauce is very tasty but needs a little more heat. I had the House Enchilada Plate. Wow!!! wow!  great food, fabulous friendly service, what more could you ask?  we intended to eat at the pine shed, but they were closed.  This place, just next door, was way better than the shed ever hoped to be, food- and service-wise.  i ordered the street tacos with carne asada, hubby had the deep fried chile rellenos with beans and rice.  I judge a Mexican place first by their chips and salsa - these were awesome, garlicky red salsa and equally tasty, less garlicky, more guacamole-ish, salsa verde, (house made) that we went through so fast that we needed a second little bowl.  The street tacos, served on fresh-made soft corn tortillas were excellent, piping hot and ready for some salsa.  I tasted the chile rellenos and thought those were delicious too.  will definitely be back...how did i miss this place?  Thanks Pine Shed for being closed today! We went for the first time last night with a party of 9 for my bday. Found it from looking on here. Service was GREAT!! Margaritas were AWESOME! My veggie burrito was wonderful! Everyone else seemed to really like there food and drinks also. Prices were good. We also ran into trouble paying the bill. We had a Groupon and Groupons website was down. This place is a family favorite!  Our teenagers love the taco plates and the flautas.  My husband and I like the enchilada plates with shredded chicken and green sauce or mole (their mole is AMAZING! ).  We order on Friday night so we have leftovers to mix with scrambled eggs over the weekend.  The owners/staff are super friendly and the prices are very reasonable - especially when you consider how generous the portions are for the dinner entrees.  We like supporting our neighborhood businesses, so this is a win all the way around! Finding good Mexican food anywhere near home has been impossible and disappointing for years, but after reading the Yelp reviews for this little diamond in the rough, we decided to call in an order to go. Everything was was excellent! Yummy salsa, fresh and not too salty chips, perfect guacamole, fresh flavorful ceviche, and my husband enjoyed his enchiladas. The pollo asada on my salad was perfection, not too salty and not dry. The only error was my own in that by the time I got home my salad was wilted after being steamed by the chicken and beans, but all the ingredients in it were good though. -- I look forward to our eating at the restaurant and seeing if their margaritas can live up to the food! :) More...

Had lunch here today and it was delicious. Three different homemade salsas and warm chips are brought right to your table. The waitress was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful in choosing our dishes. The food came out quickly, everything was fresh with good quality ingredients. Wonderful Mexican food in Lake O. I had the pleasure of dining here last night and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. It had the feel of a cozy, family place with lots of support evident to the local community. Service was friendly and courteous--and they were busy on a Thursday night! There were lots of delivery persons picking up food and 80% of tables were full near to closing. Chips and salsa arrived right when I sat down and they were terrific. I started with their freshmade tomato salsa and the verde. I needed more heat with my tacos and my server offered their homemade hot sauce, I gladly agreed. It was terrific with nice heat but not overpowering. I tried the al pastor and pollo adobo and they were delicious. Lots of cabbage and pico de gallo to top. As an added bonus when dining alone, there's a television up front showing the live basketball game. This is my favorite place to go for Mexican food in Lake Oswego/Tualatin/Tigard! Let's be honest...it's really all about the salsas! The hot and red salsa is...well, a little hot and red (and frankly not worth wasting chips on, unless you like that sort a lot). The salsa verde is the thin, creamy kind, made with tomatillos. The brown salsa is the right amount of chunky with a layer of delicious cilantro flavor. It's so good with chips and even better on top of whatever you order. The food is spectacular, fresh & flavorful. The sauces, in particular, are complex. At our table weI had the burrito enchilada style with mole sauce, one with the green sauce, and the tostada salad. I would give this place five stars as I love love it. I moved here from Phoenix 20 years ago and the thing I miss the most is good Mexican food. I thought I had found it at Sabrazon. Their food is really good! Everything I have tried is fresh and tasty. Tonight however, at 7:40pm on a Saturday night, we show up with our mouths watering only to be turned away. Thank you for the FANTASTIC catering you provided for my son's send off to college party on August 8 2017. I could not have asked for better service or food. I found Sabrozon by reading all the positive reviews from their past customers. But I was completely surprised by how great this family-owned and run restaurant really is. We first met with the owner, Raúl, at Sabrozon to discuss the menu and sample the food. It was excellent. So we booked them for our event. The two-person team arrived early. They were friendly, helpful, courteous professional, and efficient.  The food was hot, exactly what was ordered, and was presented nicely in serving trays and platters. They even brought bowls and a flower arrangement done in the college's school colors. If you want to go to a restaurant for great Mexican food, Sabrozon is the best. Ruben and Karen were prompt and friendly and everyone at the party was raving about their service.
