After receiving a few quotes in the ball park of +$7,000 from contractors due to a water leak in my basement; I found SQ Consultants online and scheduled an appointment to have them survey my property. A few days prior to my appointment, Syed asked if I can forward the other estimates. After inspecting my property, he asked that we review the other estimates and clearly explained what work the other contractors were charging for. He provided me cost-effective alternatives which would save me thousands of dollars!!! Not only Syed was professional; he was empathetic and understanding to my financial situation. Syed came out in short notice to quote estimated repairs needed for foundation cracking. After review he determined that helical pier supports were not necessary and the quote for over $50K for that work was excessive. He suggested that all I needed to do was route water further away from my foundation walls and to repair the cracks to prevent leaks. More...

I hired SQ Consultant because I had some cracking in my basement walls and I was told to have a structural engineer come out. Syed came out the same day which was great. He looked a the walls and suggested an underpinning be done and the grading. The report and plans were good but when I went to the contractors for the work the price was a little higher than I was lead to believe it would be. It is the foundation to my house and the contractors agreed that the solution was correct and the cost was what it was.
