Bookeeping and Accounting
We provide bookkeeping and accounting activities, including QuickBooks® company files setup, invoicing and bill pay management, entering and paying bills on time, maintaining vendors for accounts payable, creating and sending customer invoices, and assistance with collecting past due accounts receivables. SJ Melvin Accounting provides data entry into accounting software, recording transactions, income and expense categorization. Monthly services include reconciling bank and credit card statements, reviewing transactions to ensure proper recording, and financial reports.
Payroll
SJ Melvin Accounting can handle all payroll tasks, payroll processing and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and Federal laws, and non-employee 1099's. We prepare and submit employment and wage detail, unemployment insurance contribution, and workforce training fund reports. Our services include preparing and filing state and Federal payroll tax returns, employee W-2 wage and tax statement, and subcontractor 1099 forms. SJ Melvin Accounting can prepare and file annual payroll audit, reconcile payroll records and W-2's, overtime payroll records, worker's comp classification codes, and insurance certificates from subcontractors.
Tax Returns
We prepare and file business and individual tax returns, including Federal corporate income tax returns, state corporate excise tax returns, state corporate annual report. SJ Melvin Accounting provides profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
