Q&As

Having a goal in mind. How you see the image should look like. For example, rarely is a photograph finished upon capture, the post process must also be taken into consideration and the photographer needs to see this end result in their mind's eye.

Was there inspiration for the request for a photographer? This question is asked because often the client has an idea what they want their project to end up looking like. The photographer is not necessarily running with this expectation but definitely using this information to give the client what they want.

What type of photographic style are you looking for? This is a basic question that usually involves one of two answers. Photojournalistic or controlled.

Concerning residential images, who will be looking at this images? Family, friends, social media? How much time are we putting into these images and are we over doing something that may be better off casual versus managed and staged.

Commercial clients will be asked what the images will be used for and in what capacity. Do we need model releases and the like. There are often many more questions to ask when it comes to commercial clients.

Getting to work with people while having fun at the same time! Sounds cliché but it's true.

I suppose I cannot imagine working under another photographer. Unless you work for a firm, most of us work for ourselves.

Easy to work with! I get the job done and attempt to capture and deliver what the clients wants, even if it's not necessarily my first choice. Sometimes you just need to give the client what they want! It's not always our job to be artistic at the expense of our clients' wishes.

Yes I can depending on the clients requirements as it will be a case by case basis.

Services

A somewhat broad category for a service, commercial photography includes, but not limited to annual reports, employee portraits, product shots, catalog, events and lifestyle. If you are a company who needs that big step up from casual photos, please contact me for a quote!

Portraits include singles or small groups. The level of the portraits can vary the cost of the images by a significant margin. If a serious studio project is required, then we are talking studio time and possibly a makeup artist.

While events can include commercial, these projects often stand on their own. Events include but not limited to gala's, charities, ceremonies and parties.

When you need quality images of your fury family members, a professional is often needed to capture those moments. Please contact me for an appointment!
