I recently brought my parents to Ruth's Chris to celebrate their birthdays, and we felt like royalty the entire time we were there! From the friendly hosts, to the table being prepped for us (including decorations and a card!), to the amazing service from Da and his team, all we can say is "wow!" Had another great meal tonight at Ruth's Chris in Downtown Crown. They have the best group of staff of any area restaurant and our server, Da, was exceptional. I loved my experience at Ruth Chris September 20th, 2019. I want to say Adam was our server. I hope that is his name. He was amazing! He checked back with us. He was very responsive. We were here for an office celebratory dinner, and it was an incredible experience. The wait staff was beyond amenable and accommodating. The team of Da and Jacob were fantastic.The food was exceptional, as you would hopefully expect from Ruth's Chris, but it was more how it was presented and the attention to detail that made it so much better than other RC's I've visited in the area.Specifically, the bone-in filet was cooked to perfection. It was humongous, too, so the extra bit of gristle in the middle? Totally unremarkable, due to the copious amount of butter- like beef otherwise available. The lump crab on top was the perfect compliment. It wasn't in a traditional 'Oscar'-style sauce, which is preferred. It was just right, though; not overpowering and not invisible.They really went out of their way to give us the ambiance, privacy, service, and experience that marked a special occasion. I don't know what they do so differently here, but the experience was above and beyond the standard for this chain. I liked this place food wise, it was pretty good. But the waiters were very distracted. I guess I'd advise you to come to this place when you're not starving because when this place is packed you will be waiting quite a while until you get your food.

What a wonderful happy hour! I have gone a few times with co-workers and had a great time each time. The service in the bar is just as wonderful as the full restaurant. Jasmine has been our waitress a couple of times and she remembers us each time. You can't go wrong with anything from the Happy Hour menu; plus they usually have a steak special that includes a steak and a glass of wine for $30. When the steak comes to the table, it is topped with brown butter and it's absolutely amazing! If you want to try this place but have been scared off by the full restaurant prices, the Happy Hour is the way to go! More...

After a long day in DC, we decided to go back "home" and enjoy a good steak and RC did not disappoint. I booked via open table and stated it was our anniversary- our table had an anniversary card and happy anniversary confetti! Michael, our waiter was fantastic- entertaining, ( spoke about the meat cuts) well versed in wines ( a sommelier) and was always on the ball! You can tell he was experienced and enjoyed what he does. At the end, the restaurant offered dessert (pictured) and when we reminded him that my wife need to eat GF, he quickly got her a sorbet w whip cream! Would recommend the restaurant and Michael! The experience was superb, from the pleasant and friendly bartender who took our picture (occasion was our 40th anniversary), offered congratulations, showed us the menu, and chatted with us, to the wait staff in the dining room who were wonderful, attentive, accommodating and helped enhance our fun evening and the happy occasion.
