We had the lunch special Chicken stroganoff it was hot and delicious. You could tell it was made with fresh ingredients! One person had the lunch combo of half egg salad and bowl of chicken vegetable soup. All of it was amazing and tasted homemade. Small quaint place, it was perfect. Will definitely be back. Food came out. No silverware. Waitress went to get it. Ten minutes later we reminded her. Other people were only getting half their orders. One lady’s food was completely forgotten. Ice was on a small ice bucket with a few cubes but mostly water. I have heard others complain about food quality and service also. More...

Ordered a king cake to be made for pickup a few days later. Went to pick up and the server looked confused, and after a few minutes someone went to the refrigerator and just grabbed a king cake for us. Looks like they forgot ours and gave us one that was already made. This cake tasted so bad! It was flat with barely any filling and smothered in icing that tasted horrible. I thought it was still just the cake lady and a full time bakery until I went in and saw the wide variety of different menu items. Ranging from a sweet and savory breakfast to a toasty and toothsome lunch. The bakery is still there making all sorts of pastries and some beautiful cakes. For my little cousins birthday we asked if they could make a Princess Ariel cake with Ariel standing out of the cake and the cake itself being her dress and it looked immaculate. I had high expectations, chilaquiles were ok, the sandwiches bread was crumbled….coffee was cold … overall food was not good apart from being overpriced. Went there for a couple of coworkers birthday lunch….food was less then okay, wrapper was still left on the melted cheese, 2 orders were wrong, asked for a partial refund, since you have to pay before you’re served, they then brought the sandwich out in a to-go box because they had already made it she said. And then the manager or whoever it was was never apologetic about the circumstances just said they have 1 cook for such a large amount of people (there were 9 of us and the place only had 1 or 2 other tables) and argued about the situation.
