Rustic Bloom Photography

For those of you that don't want to read a lengthy review just do yourself a favor and hire Shannon. You will have an amazing time and the end result will be better than you could imagine. For those that want to know why I'm saying this...read on.I hired Shannon to take my maternity photos for my second little one. I wanted something outdoors this time and thought the coast would be perfect. I contacted Shannon and from the very first email, she was so friendly, professional, upbeat and personable. I emailed her no short of 20 times to ask opinions on outfits, locations, dates/times and she responded promptly and with enthusiasm every time! She made sure I felt important which was nice. Flash forward to the day of my shoot, I decided to opt for hair and makeup by the person she recommends, Sarah Bradshaw. I am very hesitant about getting my makeup done because I am picky and don't want to be disappointed. I sent a photo over of the look I wanted and Sarah nailed it. She did such an amazing job!! She made me feel beautiful and is extremely talented. She is also super sweet and down to Earth, which made the entire experience fun. Shannon was also there for the entire "getting ready" portion to chit chat and get to know me which was awesome. Shannon definitely scouts out the best places for the photos and spent way over the average amount of time shooting my photos to ensure we captured the best light for each location. She would climb all over the woods, rocks, beach - just to get the best shot. She makes you feel extremely comfortable the entire time which helps bring out the best photos. If anyone is still reading this long review, I haven't even gotten to the actual photos. They are simply the most amazing photos I've ever seen! She captured the beauty of the coast and the exact look and feel that I wanted for this memory. My Mom, who came along, also had the best time. Shannon's work is absolutely breathtaking.  She had done many sessions for me, including maternity, birth and infant shoots, as well as my son's first birthday cake smash and family shots. Every session has been so well thought out by her, everything from the gorgeous locations to the details in all the props she uses. She always captures such beautiful images, I'm always  completely in awe every time I get my photos back from her. I would recommend her 100 times over, and will continue to use her for all my future photo sessions! More...
