Rugged North Fitness is an amazing gym with coaches that truly want to see you succeed! I have been going to this gym for about 6 months and have seen huge improvements in my stamina and strength. They have a tight knit community that is supportive, encouraging and welcoming to new members! There is a weekly format to hit all your workout goals; cardio, upper body, legs and abs. The workouts change daily so you'll never get board. The team at Rugged North is top notch. I have been going to RNF for about 6 months now and it is one of the best investments I have made in myself! This is one of the first places I went to start working out. Rugged North Fitness completely changed the way I think about fitness. I used to casually work out and see little to no results, and since coming to RNF, I now understand how hard I need to workout and how much I need to push myself (even when I can't make it to my 5:30AM class ). Jay is super helpful with any fitness questions you may have and really holds you accountable. I especially love the social aspect of this group- everyone is so welcoming! I love this gym! My husband and I have been coming here for over two years now. One of my favorite things is the COMMUNITY and support! ! I’ve never gone to a gym where I’ve actually made friends and had so much fun. It’s also nice to do the group workouts - you might think it’s intimidating at first, but it’s actually great! I used to go to big gyms and had no idea what I was doing, and I just felt awkward. But here when you’re sweaty & tired, you look around and realize you’re all doing it together. No matter your age or fitness level, you can modify the workouts to be great and effective for YOU (and nobody judges you). Plus the trainers are amazing and help you figure out what you’re doing, have the right form, and modifications if you need! My transformation is a little different than many, as I’ve actually gained weight (aka muscle). I’ve learned to love my body and that the number on the scale doesn’t matter as much as how you FEEL. I used to be a cardio bunny and now I love weights and am getting so much stronger. So thankful for my Rugged North fam!! More...

If you get bored easily, want a challenge, and thrive on (friendly!) competition, this is the gym for you! Jay puts his heart and soul into running this place and it shows. Classes follow the same basic structure, but vary every day. Every! Day! He hosts both fitness and social events, which create a fun and friendly atmosphere. My fitness level is at it's highest level since college (maybe even better), and seeing it increase every day is a huge motivator. Ever since Highschool I've tried a ton of different fitness programs. P90X, Insanity, Crossfit, memberships at Planet fitness, a health club membership because I'd convinced myself I needed a pool to succeed, and at one point I even resorted to a Jillian Michaels program. Awful. I know. Jay and the crew at Rugged North Fitness have crafted a facility and routine that, for the first time, not only sticks BUT WORKS. The coaches devise new ways to make you sweat every class resulting in creative, varied and intense workouts. The people who go to the gym are some of the nicest I've ever encountered in a fitness community, and i feel I've formed lasting friendships with my fit fam. Whether I go to the 615am class or one of the evening classes after work, I know I'm going to have a good time with whoever is there with me as we all ride the Squat Struggle Bus together. Whats even more amazing is how the gym has grown over the last year. Jay has been working his butt off remodeling the gym, buying great equipment like stationary bikes, row machines and even remodeling an entire room into a space for lifting weights. A new 3d body scanner makes weighing in exciting and insightful as it gives Body fat percentage, posture metrics, exact body measurements and more. Since joining I've completely redone my diet, lost 3 inches off my waist, shed 4% of my body fat and 25lbs. I cannot recommend this gym enough. Stick with it. It doesn't get easier, but the rewards are definitely worth it. More...

Great gym with even more updates coming soon! Amazing people and you can look forward to finding your own “crew”. The 5:30, or 6:15, lunch hour or after work, you will meet a group that helps motivate and makes these workouts fun! Jay has built a fitness family. He brings fresh ideas to the workouts with simple modifications all the way to adding new equipment. I started coming to this gym 5 years ago when it was Fit Body Boot Camp and will continue to enjoy going with the new name. Jay and the other trainers are great leaders and motivators in class and will also join the workouts with you sometimes. Before coming here, I never stuck to the same gym for this amount of time. The workouts are only 30-40 minutes and are never the same. There is always a ton of variety in the exercises to keep your body guessing and keep you from getting bored with the same routine. They also provide a variety of modifications if you feel like you cannot do the exercise as demonstrated. I was even able to continue coming after having a couple of injuries that happened outside of the gym, Jay helped me find modifications so that I could still burn some calories and keep moving. They also have nutrition plans and a body scanner that can help you reach your goals. Everyone in class is also very welcoming and encouraging. We have all become part of the Rugged North Fitness Family. More...
