This is by far the classiest restaurant in Galveston. Paco's sister restaurant Vargas Cut and Catch is across the street and I can't wait to dine there. I am sure the service will be as great as Rudy and Pacos. I did have a drink at the beautiful bar there before dining at R and P's. The service is the absolute best. They deliver your drinks at the same time, you food at the same time and they pick up your plates at the same time. Just A one. And the food is outstanding as well. I’m so glad we ended up here for dinner! We only had one night to spend in Galveston, and the hotel we stayed at suggested we go here for my birthday. The server was lovely, the food came out so quickly, and the atmosphere was very romantic. The fresh bread was delicious and the plantain crusted chicken dish was so unique- truly amazing and one of a kind. This is my go to special occasion restaurant. I cannot say enough good things about the service! Paco is always there, and is 100% involved in the running of his restaurant, and loves to greet patrons as they arrive. The ambience of this beautiful little restaurant leaves you with a warm feeling. There isn’ta single fish I wouldn’t recommend.
