My husband and I got married on 01/01/2020 in the gorgeous chapel. In addition, we had a small reception in the community room. The location is fabulous and the chapel is absolutely amazing! We are looking forward to going back this summer to camp and enjoy the river. Ruby's is an awesome place and the owners are wonderful to work with! Lovely campground! Stayed here for an extended period during the summer and early winter. Staff was friendly and was very responsive to any requested that we had. Campsites are spacious and have gorgeous views of the valley. Access to the water was a huge plus for me. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to Fort Leonardwood or central Missouri! More...

We drove 2 1/2 hours for the haunted float and had a GREAT time. We stayed in the RV park which was clean and quiet. Well, except for the occasional screams of scared visitors. {insert creepy laugh} lol. The float, corn maze and haunted house were all lots of FUN. The staff, though...couldnt ask for better! We had the best time at the Haunted Float at Ruby's Landing this weekend. We rented Cabin 2 for our stay. The staff were great during the booking, check in and check out processes. Our cabin was wonderful. The Haunted Float was awesome (I was terrified), the corn maze was good and the haunted house was great. All of the staff that were made contact with were super super nice. We will definitely come back! A few tips to future visitors: 1. Book your cabin as much in advance as you can to ensure that you get one. 2. Bring Off or other bug repellent. 3. The is a Dollar General about 5 miles away. 4. The wait lines can be a little long, so keep that in mind. We will definitely recommend Ruby's Landing to everyone that we know. More...

Clean, spacious sites! Always something scheduled... this Fri and Sat is the “Haunted River Float”...zombies everywhere! Going to be a fun 3 month stay! We are full-time RV’ers and the monthly rate is why we’ve decided to extend our visit! Staff is so accommodating! Some areas still “under construction” but not a bother to campers! My daughter and new son in law visited us from NC. Since they are avid kayakers we wanted to show them the clear, beautiful rivers of Missouri. We decided to give Ruby’s a try. It was awesome!! Everything about the whole experience was perfect! We rented a canoe and 3 kayaks. The river was relaxing and beautiful, which made the first timers in our group very . Went the weekend of the 21st, had a blast! My sister brought her two kids and the characters played nice with them! Haha They enjoyed them self as well. My husband and I brought 4 teenage girls this weekend, and will definitely come again in the future. We all had so much fun. The actors were great and did their jobs well. What a great experience! Being in the river at night was definitely something you have to experience, haunted or not. The 3 1/2 hour drive and the low price of $30 per person is MOST DEFINITELY worth it. I came with a party of 4 for the haunted float, we drove 4.5 hours....Well worth the drive. The float itself was not scary but the set up, the maze and haunted house was great. me,my fiance and his mother all came to the haunted river float and had a blast. we will def be back. the river float was super spooky, we got turned around a couple times in the corn maze and the haunted house had all kinds of nice suprises it took us like 2 hours to gwt through everything. money well spent thats for sure!! oh and we had actors visit us at our campsite as well and leatherface even shared a story with us!!! My niece just had her bachelorette party there this last weekend and we had a blast! Even though it was a little wet that didn't stop us. The haunted river float was my favorite. I loved the haunted house also. Later that night we even got a special visit in our cabin. When the girls heard the chainsaw start up outside their window the looks on their face was priceless.
