At Rua, each event menu is created just for you. We are happy to customize to meet your needs. We are not your average thaw and bake catering company. With a full service restaurant, we make every dish from scratch and take great pride in fresh, delicious, and beautiful food that you'll remember long after your event is over.

Needed a reservation. Didn’t have one. Told I could sit in the bar. Sat at at table in the bar. Minutes later was told the table was reserved. Moved to the bar. Ordered a drink special…so special it took the tender 10 minutes of reading the recipe to produce something unremarkable. Ordered tomato soup…right out of the can. Ordered hanger steak…cold around the edges. Flavor…so so. Asked for the bill…$51. Paid with a $100 bill. Bartender/waitress asked if I needed change. OF COURSE! Won’t be back. More...

I believe this is the Best food in Warsaw. The Cat Man drink alone was worth the trip. The help was very helpful. Went with a group from work. The food was "stop the conversation" good (that means it was great btw). Menu designed for sharing, which we did (but my food was so good, don't tell anyone, but I didn't want to). I would suggest this restaurant to anyone. A must see. More...

I always love going to Rua. They have a lot of great brunch options, and even more for dinner. My favorite item on their menu is definitely the tomato soup with naan grilled cheese. It is so delicious, I have ordered it multiple times. I also love their garden salad, it really tastes like you're eating a fresh garden. The avocado vinaigrette dressing they make is so yummy with fresh herbs and feta, so so good. Most recently when I went here, my friends and I all ordered multiple dishes and we shared them all. We tried the chicken curry, which was really yummy although a bit too spicy for me. The chickpea bowl was also pretty good. The lamb kabobs were okay. The fried potatoes are super super yummy, and the farmer's cheese is also really good if you like olives, which I love. Overall I really like most of the dishes I've ordered, and whatever wasn't exactly amazing I think the atmosphere made up for, and kind servers. More...

A good Oasis in Indiana. We have been travelling through the state a few times, and I finally found a great place to stop for a dinner. The menu is superb, service great. The style is international cuisine with a tilt towards Brazilian/portuguese. We had a great dinner for $30 each tip included. More...

Rua's culinary lineage from Chicago clearly shines through, but I find the service is a level higher. The menu, both from the kitchen and the bar, push the limits of what Warsaw is use to. However, the tie in to local standards show through, without being forced. A pork tenderloin finds itself on the menu here, just down the page from falafel. This mix of expected and unexpected gives Rua the ability to be both familiar and daring to typical local residents. The quality of the food itself it what allows Rua to do this. The aforementioned falafel is paired with a middle eastern style cucumber salad that is good enough to be served on it's own, but is simply a background element to a falafel the has the texture and flavor that exceeds expectations in a restaurant specializing in middle eastern cuisine. This level of quality is across the board. Rua handles the basics with great care, and any additions are complete unnecessary, but are provided with great results, and appropriate for local palates. A great exapmle is the shrimp and grits on the breakfast portion of the brunch menu. Not only do they recognize that this is a breakfast food (even Charleston has trouble with that), but they are able to take the grits beyond their inherent blandness without the use of overwhelming spicyness. The bar is both original and down the earth. They are able to provide the basics with expected ingredients (unlike another upscale bar in Warsaw who opened without Makers Mark), but also provide a menu of unexpected hits. From Miller High Life to brown butter cocktails, they have you covered. The service is where Rua will establish itself and shine in a community like Warsaw. The friendliness to families is the key element here. Expectations for a place like this is the push families away, but both facilities and sizable menus are offered to the little ones, all without taking away for the atmosphere. Further, the servers are both properly knowledgable on the menu, and well trained in the basics. You will not have to show the waitstaff how to open a bottle of wine at Rua, not necessarily the case everywhere in town. Rua is what Warsaw needs, want to have something other than pizza on a Tuesday, go to Rua. Have a business meeting with clients from NYC, Rua will do the trick. Your hippy daughter is coming home from San Francisco? You're in luck. Rua is the catalyst to finer dining in Warsaw. Tl;dr: Order 2 things, one familiar, one you've never had, and a Bounty Hunter. Take your kids, it won't be an issue. More...

This is the second time we have been here to Rua and we absolutely enjoyed the time. Polite staff and amazing food. This is a small plates establishment and it was phenomenal. You have to try the Pork Belly and Brazilian rolls. These are some of the best items in the menu. The menu changes seasonally. We also had the beet cake. I know it sounds questionable but it is worth trying. Reminds me and my wife of a carrot cake. I strongly suggest coming and experiencing this restaurant for yourself. More...
